Yeah, this is what I've heard as well...and from everything I've seen, it really makes a lot of sense...

I've liked Bailey since the beginning, but I gotta say I liked her even more in episodes 2.01 and 2.02 because she opened up a little.

I mean, I got to know a little more about her, like the fact that she liked dolls, and also that Joey (the owner of the bar) was her first friend in town. I loved finding out those little details, and I hope it keeps going this way so I can know even more

I think that what made her my favorite character was how she stood up for the inerns in the season finale, even though they had broken the rules, she still stood up for them.

And she was the ONLY one that called out for Izzy when she announced that she was quitting the program. To me that was very telling of her deep feelings and concern for her interns

You know...I don't know how I missed the significance of this. Suppose it calls for a rewatch of the finale on my part...maybe I'll get to it before I go back to work on Monday...

I liked the banter between Bailey and her fave patient Jeremy. She cared a great deal for him. It was unfortunate he died in surgery.

Yeah, there was definitely some good banter there. Shows how much Bailey grows to care about her patients over time, and how compassionate she can really be when the situation calls for it...

Bailey is the only character you can really count on to take accountability. I can't remember her calling Izzie's name either. I've been to chicken to rewatch the finale.

I was just thinking, before the FF crash our title was "She deserves an Emmy nod" or something...and now she's got it!

I remember that too. It's like we wished into existence.

No, her work stands for itself. She's amazing. If she submitted the scenes of her labor/giving birth, I think she's got it.
