Message Board Closure Notice
 

Hi everyone. This announcement is to inform you that this message board will be closed and moved into the Closed Forums category on May 7, due to a lack of sustained traffic. We had established a minimum daily post count requirement of 15 posts per board per day, and unfortunately, this board did not meet that minimum requirement twice in the last six months, so the Management Team and I have made this difficult decision. We encourage you to start discussion topics about Grey's Anatomy on the Television Forum here at Fan Forum after this board has closed, so you can continue to discuss your favorite celebrity here. We regret the necessity of having to do this, but we want Fan Forum to be a website with message boards that are busy and thriving, so we can add more boards and build for the future. Thanks for understanding.

I think that's fair. The show has completely lost a lot of its appeal, and therefore, it is hard to keep up the conversation pertaining to this board.

Sorry to see that this board is closing. I haven't watched the show in a while now, but this was the first board I posted on when I joined :ff: and it's admirable how long this board has gone on.

Sorry to hear that, used to be one of the most active boards. I used to post here a lot, I have fond memories but sometimes it's just time to move on.

I'm just a temp mod so there wasn't much I could do. It's sad to see it go, especially if it was your first board to mod :( I'm sorry too :flowers:

I can relate to that. I had a German Greys Community forum, started 2006 and I closed it last year because of lack of interest. When you are the only person posting every day it's purposeless to keep it alive.

That doesn't mean I'm not sad to see this board closing too. :( I've spent 11 years of my life posting here, mainly on the Greys board. It was part of my life. I will take a lot of memories with me. :bawl:

Like posterity has said, it's not surprising the board has failed to sustain traffic and meet the required daily post count. I reckon there are several users who have also contributed to former posters, such as myself and my good friend, leaving the Grey's board. It sucks it has to be this way, but it's probably for the best.

Thankfully there are many places to continue to talk about the show once the board is closed!

There's the Television board who has a Grey's Anatomy thread!

At the Celebrities board there's a Katherine Heigl, T.R. Knight and a Justin Chambers thread.

Plus we still have the Ellen Pompeo and Patrick Dempsey board to discuss Grey's Anatomy (whether that's current or old episodes)
