MEREDITH GREY/ELLEN POMPEO APPRECIATION THREAD

Ellen Pompeo made her major studio screen debut in Brad Silberling's Moonlight Mile, starring alongside Susan Sarandon, Dustin Hoffman and Jake Gyllenhaal. She received outstanding reviews for her portrayal of an outspoken young woman carrying a silent burden that's breaking her heart. A native of Boston, Pompeo was most recently seen starring opposite Luke Wilson, Vince Vaughn and Will Ferrell in the wildly successful Old School and, before that, in Steven Spielberg's Catch Me If You Can, opposite Leonardo DiCaprio. Prior to Moonlight Mile, Pompeo starred in several independent features, including In the Weeds and Coming Soon, and she can also be seen in the upcoming Glory Days.

Right now she's starring in the hit series 'Grey's Anatomy' as Dr. Meredith Grey.

Great idea i added a new s4 picture in the OP!! I wasn't sure i'd be able to as i thought we might be over the limit of images allowed in a post but no!! So yay!!

Okay so i guess no DVD party, lol. But hey tomorrow we should get new pictures, yay. I can't wait. I mean we've got new pictures recently but still there can never be enough EP pictures, lol!!

Apparently EP was on ET, in they're real or rumour section, i think. And it was about if her and Chris were married already, apparently its a rumor!

There is this one other critic from EW, his name is Gregory Kirschling and he writes the Grey's recaps for EW. And he is like totally in love with EP/Meredith. I mean its so darn cute he's always saying she's the greatest which she is, i cant wait for his reviews of next season! One cute thing he wrote is when he said he was covering the Oscars this year and he's like 'then and only then will i stop talking about the Great Ellen Pompeo' o something like that, lol!!

Unfortunately when you are in the public eye and are one of the leading actresses on TV, some people get jealous, I guess.

I think she is talented, sweet and funny. I love how she sticks by her friends too, like she did with TR and her fiance

She seems to have had a hard life, but she doesn,t let that get her down, so good for her.

she did well in Wishin' and Hopin. i'm so sad when she's not being recognized by emmy's..... i hope she will be nominated again at GG.... There would be a possibility she'd win there.
