| I was heart broken this morning, when I saw that she didn't get a nod. I really was. She's such an under dog to me. She's got so much talent, but it's just so subtle. It doesn't even feel like acting, and that's a compliment. She just hits all these different emotions. No theatrics, no histronics, no bells and whistles. Just pure, honest, raw, God given talent. I'm sad she didn't get nominated. Partially because I think it's just another occurence of her not being respected for being the star of one of the biggest shows on television. It just makes me sad. | |||

| I'm sad for Ellen but I'm not surprised. This season she had the same screentime of KH and she's the lead actress... Meredith is like House but Hugh is the focus of his show. In GA lead actors and supporting actors have the same screentime... | |||

| I was sad too, has Ellen ever been nominated? I thought season 3 was BY FAR her best work, she was amazing all season long. I think in general it is maybe easier to get into the supporting categories. I know in soaps, a lot of leading actors do it as the competition is so fierce in the leading categories. Still, I was hoping she would get one for her great work. | |||

| I just have this bad feeling that she'll always be overlooked in favor of flashines, or senority, or a bigger name, or something. I don't know. She's the proverbial underdog. She's humble, quiet, keeps to herself, is damn talented, but isn't flashy. Which I love, but it proves to be a detriment in Hollywood. I think she might care a little, and be a little saddened, seeing as how articles praised her for that night, and she had her name in a few papers as a real contender. It's just really sad. | |||

| I think Ellen, Justin Chambers, and James Pickens Jr. should start a club called "We're awesome, but no one cares." No one being the awards committee. I love SO, CW, etc. But the three I mention are probably my favourite actors on the show. Ellen and Justin scenes just feel so real and natural, and James is such a strong presence on the show. These three are probably the most underrated. And it's a shame. I hope we get new pics soon too. She's so beautiful, and her smile is so sweet. | |||

| Ellen isn't like James and Justin................ Justin and James never had a real focus or screentime on the show. If she wasn't the lead actress, probably they would have nominated in the supporting category. This season she had the same screentime of KH and a lead actress deserve screentime an good storylines. | |||

| I, too, feel bad that she wasn't nominated for her work this season...especially when some of her strongest performances came out of this past season, even with as weak of a season as it was overall. Hopefully, she'll get the recognition she deserves eventually, since I find her acting has gotten better and better as time has gone on...definitely...  __________________  Queen of Randomosity | |||
