Yeah, I agree. If I had to watch Mark or Lexie falling in love with someone else, I guess I would like: rant here, pull at my hair while watching it and do other just as dramatic things.

Yeah, and I think we've already met the guy who's main role will be to be her new role interest. You know the one who Owen hates. He even looks a tiny bit like Derek if you ask me.

They only good thing about ML dying is that they died together. That's sad.

I remember the episode they came back S9 where they showed Mark not doing well in the airport and he looks over and see's a body bag (Lexie) and his heart literally stops. It was incredible sad but just showed their love was real and deep and I think he only held on to see Sofia and to tell Julia it was always Lexie. They had more of a type of soap ending which I loved.

I felt bad for Julia and I think Mark did like her but he was in love with Lexie.

I don't even remember Julia's face... I also don't remember hating her or feeling bad for her, I was just annoyed that Shonda thought it was necessary to make her exist.

Mark liked the idea of her but he did not love her it was a comfortable relationship.

Yeah, I thought so too. He just wanted to have a family I guess, and he agreed to be with the first woman that was suitable enough for him to start one.

yes I think Mark felt he played enough and wanted to saddle down at that time and Lexie was always not ready.

I think in S8 Lexie was ready to be in commitment relationship (just relationship, not the kids), just not with Mark. In S6 the problem with their relationship was that he wasn't considering her needs at all, and in S7 when the new baby drama happened, she had a dejavu of everything that happened before, and got out of this mess before it could hurt her anymore. But she realised later on that she can't forget about Mark and shake him out of her life.

the thing is that Mark always came with kids thus it was hard for Lexie to be with him without being the kids.

Yeah, it was a complicated situation. But I like to believe that if they both survived the plane crash then they would try to sort out their problems and get together again.

it was complex but Lexie warmed up to the family in S8 they wasted so much time

Yeah, and it was so freaking sad how they died when they realised they want to and are ready to be together.
