He did talk to ET, though. That was nice. We got a good chunk of him Wednesday and Thursday, even if he didn't tweet.

It was just the one quote, if I remember right. There was a little more on TV than on the web. I can't remember; I was busy freaking out because Grey's was on next.

Hm. . . like I said, I think it was hypothetical. But they're shooting episode six now, so anything could happen between now and then. It's going to be a roller coaster.
I have a hard time seeing Derek agreeing to move to DC without Meredith after last night's episode. Or especially without the kids, even if she pushes him to. It's so complicated. The kids only complicate it further. |

I can see him moving out of confusion and frustration. And the thought that Mer would rather have him away.

Though Ellen says Mer really wants their marriage to work, so she must come around at some point. They must communicate at some point.
I'm thinking they might have a big blow up next ep because a) William Harper wrote the ep b) The "evil' scene Ellen was filming at 3am c) Jo is jealous of Mer in ep3, meaning Mer is really leaning on Alex in that episode |

Hope it's not with Maggie; that would suck. We already know Maggie pushes her out of the way.
"You can't look at me," Maggie says in the promo. I wonder if that's after Maggie tells Meredith? Or if it's something else entirely. Hmm. . . Mer has a bad day at work; she and Derek have a big fight at the end of the episode. I can see it. Mer probably runs to Alex's again at the beginning of episode 3; hence: jealous Jo. |

It's hard to imagine him agreeing to go to DC without the kids. He wants his kids to have both parents. Also, he knows what it's like to grow up without a father. His dad died too. That's greatly affected his view of family. Though Meredith also grew up without her father. And last season she was so worried about her kids being neglected; it was the center of all her conflict, wanting to be a good surgeon and a good mother. But she doesn't think her kids need their father too? She of all people should know how important it is that they have him around. Derek's not Thatcher.
