| Little Big Love {Sloan ღ Grey} #70: Because that kiss was well worth the wait! Welcome To The 70th Mark Sloan and Lexie Grey APPRECIATION THREAD  She is the daughter of Thatcher Grey, the younger sister of half-sister Meredith Grey and a first year intern at Seattle Grace hospital. He is a very successful and competent surgeon who has a long history of womanizing and one-night stands, and is somewhat indiscriminate about his partners. He portrays himself as a confident and often arrogant man, but behind this rugged and confident exterior, He’s self destructive and self loathing to an almost pathological degree. She is one of only two others who sees right through him and isn't afraid of him. He, through increased interactions begins to fall for her. Knowing it was wrong after being warned by his best friend Derek on behalf of his girlfriend/ Lexie’s sister to stay away from Lexie. There's some raw emotion that they share with one another that they haven't expressed with anybody else. When Mark looks at Lexie, it's like she's the only one in the room and nothing else matters. The way she respects himand looks at who he is as a person instead of his bad boy reputation. They bring out something different in each other, something they both thought wasn't possible. I thought it was so wonderful that he was embracing her personality. He had actually listened to her when she said she had a photographic memory despite the fact that in an earlier scene he said "use fewer words Grey." Plus his smile and mouthing of the elements with her as she recited the periodic table was adorable. {the an attraction that grows stronger even as others try to warn it away}  “Stay away from Little Grey” “Either you take her home or I will”  {Giving IN} Lexie: Hey. Lexie: I get it. I'm the one who organized a crazy club of secret, cutter interns. The thing is, I've been advised to seek out sex as a way of my sad predicament, but I think I would rather just learn today, so... what do you say? You, me ... Mark: Why are you talking about sex with me? It's inappropriate. I'm your teacher. I have things to teach. Double board-certified things. Lexie: That's what I was talking about. For you to teach me ... medicine. The sex, that was... a joke.  Lexie: You made her speak. Mrs. Patterson, she said hi. She spoke. Because he wants to take her home. Because he picks her to scrub in on surgeries. Because he needed help finding supplies and she helped him. Because he calls her Little Grey. Because they are "it" Because she's changing him from a man-whore to a one-woman-minded man. Because she impressed him with the pulley stitch. Because she nailed it and he thought it was impressive. Because he stood behind her during surgery and it was HOT! Because the way he looks at her makes us melt. Because he wants to do good things for her. Because they have unfinished chemistry. Because he called her Lassie. Because even though he thinks she's pathetic he still can't help but wonder..... Because she's fragile and he can be the one to hold it together for her. Because she needs some BIG in her Little. Because they balance each other out. She toughens up, and he softens. Making for a lovely combination that equals balance. Even though it sometimes hurts, they know it's better to have that passion that they have with each other, than none at all. {Scene of the moment}  Haylie. | Good morning! TFTNT, Chelly! Last night rocked! The M/L storyline was fantastic, but the rest of the show was impeccable as well, IMO. I really think Grey's is beginning to get its groove back.
