But they did do they justice, Alex was a rebound the second time, and the first time they weren't even together, together. So i think the writers did what was right for these two. Also about forgetting they happened, it's the way the writers write the show, just like they like to tell you about feelings instead of showing them. It's stupid but it's how they write it.

And the other way round. He needed comfort after Izzie left him. And Lexie was there with kind of the same problems. They tried to comfort each other.

They were showing season six on Lifetime a few weeks ago. I always liked Lexie & Alex. They had some nice chemistry.
