I'm honestly a bit skeptic about all of this. I'm just trying to assimilate the idea that the season is over already.

Me too. As much as I'd love to have new episodes to end the season right, I'm being realistic. It doesn't look like they're gonna be able to resolve the issue soon. I seriously doubt that they'll even try to write or shoot new episodes at this point even if they do. I mean, they took pains to make that last episode a finale even though we know it's not exactly finale material. Besides, the season is supposed to end around mid-May and it's almost February now. I don't know how long it takes to write a whole episode but it takes more than a week to shoot one episode. Then there's editing and marketing. That could take weeks. They'd probably be able to complete a couple of episodes at best and IDK what good that'll do considering the way the story arcs ended.

They might be. Theres no news on the informal talks at the moment because of the 'media blackout' or whatever they call it, but they might be going well. And I think they also want a deal signed in time to save the Oscars this year.

The strike is over. Conflict has been solved and we're gonna get 4 or 5 new episodes starting April.

We've noticed that some boards have specific spoilers threads that are the only place spoilers are authorized (if I'm not wrong Gossip Girl, One Tree Hill and Patrick Dempsey boards are examples of this kind of board). We (MD fans) have been thinking if you can authorize us to open a MD spoiler thread in the board and talk about spoilers in there, so the spoiler-free MD fans won't feel isolate or excluded in the MD thread.

Barbara, I don't know why those other boards were allowed to have spoiler threads and I wouldn't question what they do in their own boards but it's an rule for the TV show boards to be spoiler-free so we can't allow that. That's why we have the Spoiler & Couples board. Why don't you just open an MD spoiler thread in that board so you can all discuss MD spoilers in there? The Lexzie shippers have.
