Oh, do you mean general discussions regarding the show themes? If it's something like that, we don't have them here because people can usually discuss those in the existing threads. Shipper threads, for example, are for people who ship a particular couple as lovers and friends. We also have threads that discuss the relationships between other non-ship characters.

There is certainly no rule against opening those types of threads. My concern is, since they're open to everyone, they might lead to debates about opposing fanbases.

Hi,

I don't watch Grey's Anatomy, but my girlfriend is crazy for it. Well, I plan to propose to my girlfriend this summer. My big, romantic idea is to edit clips of romantic moments from cinema history (and include Grey's). Hopefully, I'll then pay a movie theater to show my reel of romantic moments, eventually leading into pics of the two of us together (after which I'll pop the big question!). ANYHOW, like I said, I don't watch the show. So I need input on where I can find THE romantic moment or memorable line that will touch her heart. PLEASE BE SPECIFIC (as again, I don't watch the show and will have to go searching for it on my DVDs).

Any other recommendations for romantic movie scenes to include? Throw them out there as well!

You should watch the music video ABC made for Brandi Carlile "The Story" which features alot of romantic moments from the third season. I would start there.

I think you need to use the "Pick Me, Choose Me, Love Me" scene -- that is, um, season two, episode 5, I think (called Bring The Pain). Though I guess what that whole scene is about might not be too "proposal"-ish! So maybe you could do the scene where Derek tells Meredith he's in love with her and has been in love with her forever? That's season 3, episode 1. Very romantic moment!

Well, if something happens in the next few weeks, they can probably have another 4-5 episodes written and shot to complete the season. But, with all the time it's taking to establish talks... it does seem a bit like a longshot.
