I think because she finally got to say everything to Wyatt. yesterday I was thinking if I hated or liked wyatt calling her a coward. I hated the load ***** she was saying to Mer but re-watching I got a position.
She is not blaming Mer for losing Derek, she is not blaming Mer for the issues in the relationship, she is calling Mer on. Mer is afraid we all know this and Derek give her some reasons, but other reasons came in with Mer during her life, so I think Dr Wyatt is trying to make her face the things, because Wyatt knows she is strang enough to get thru all things that might come.

she has to get a conclusion: I want this man or I don't, once I don't, doesn't matter if he is with Rose, if they slept together or whatever.

I don't blame Derek for sleeping with Rose. They're dating and Rose is his girlfriend. It's just awkward that he's still thinking Meredith while he's with her. At least he acknowledge his mistake. It is maybe a realization for him that no matter how perfect the girl could be, it's still Meredith grey for him and no one else could make him happy but Meredith.

As for Rose, well, she must deal with the consequences of dating Mcdreamy. She knew from the very start about MD and I think she also knew how much derek loves Meredith. All she can do is leave SGH....

I liked the episode. The champagne scene is one of the strongest MD scenes I've watched.
ok he slept with rose, we hate it and we don't like her but they are dating, it was a little unbelievable they didn't have it for 2 months.
I would prefer billion times it never happened, but did and this is not going to destroy MD to me.

Maybe this bad sex was the turning point. He is growing, slowly as a turtle but he is. He admitted he is a whore, he didn't admitted anything when he was with Addison except that he chose wrong. chose wrong means nothing, but now he is calling himself a whore.

They are people, human beings.
Derek felt everything he has always felt for Meredith in that moment in the surgery. He was thinking she was feeling the same and then he says he wants to stay and Mer says him to go. she is showing him growth and that she moved on. What do we want the guy to do?
Mer had lots of ONS in season two and I was by her side, now Derek saw that Mer resisted to him, for the very first time. He was saying with all words, if you want me to stay, I'll stay. Both knew he wasn't talking about the patient in that moment. He tried once more to get in and she once more said no. She is completely right IMO she is trying to move on and face the facts, that are: he is with Rose.
I'm not defending Derek and bashing Mer. They are trying their best people, sometimes things aren't easy, sometimes you are in denial because the reality is too painful. Mer once tried to cure her pain with sex, Derek seemed to have done the same. It is simple. It is stupid, for sure, but hey, we do stupid things all the time and we regret the moment we start.
When I look to his face after he says to Sloan who is the bigger whore, it breaks my heart. Look to his face, to his eyes. He is broken!!!!!
I've always called all Derek flaws out, you are witnesses of it, but right now... I understand him, as I understood Mer so many times to do the wrong thing, because he was trying to move on, to heal his pain. the fact is: mer rejected him once more. I think she is right, because he has Rose, but specially because it is what she thinks that has to be done.
Man I cried when I just watched again his face when he says that to Sloan. Let's not forget he is in hell also, he is several pain. Give the man a break, pls

Barabara it just a recycle crap by Shonda Derek could sleep with Addison without thinking of Meredith we saw him thinking about her and now the same with Rose did we really need to go this path again with Rose NO and their reunion is tainted with Rose now
