Morning Ferryboats. The love Mer/Der feel for each other should never be doubted. But both points of view should be looked at and the fact that both have hurt the other. They will have their obstacles but they will overcome them and find one another. Meredith dated Finn after she lost hope of being with Derek. So IMO the same would be for Derek.

What I don't get is why has he lost hope? She is making some much progress. She already come so far. Most of the fans see it her friends see it. Why can't he? He should see how far she has come and continue to support as she continues to progress. But instead he's going to sniff after someone else instead.

That is incredibley disrepectful of the realtionship and love that they share. And I know if I was Meredith I would be really hurt that he cant be there for her.

I don't think it's the same thing. Meredith dates Finn because Derek chose Addison, she started to have a normal life again. She just needed time to date another man because she was hurt.

Good point. If Derek wants to start to date, Meredith deserves to know it.
I want them happy. I don't want to see Meredith sad again and Derek sad because he chose wrong again. I want a new storyline. I want them finally happy. They are growing this season and I hope Shonda won't damage them with an unnecessary triangle.
