Showing pictures of Derek though it'd be nice is not enough...not that I am watching though. If they are really make it believable he shouldnt be only in pictures, they should talk/mention him, but I guess, he will only be a picture...

Yeah they'll 'subtly' mention him with the pictures/ferryboat scrubcap but they'll never utter his name again.

And I have no idea how you knock down a wall without waking up three kids. Especially when one is supposed to be an infant. Apparently they're the soundest sleepers in the world, or they just leave their toys everywhere and then go sleep somewhere else? Ummm...

well for me I guess they still are as the last episode I watched was when Derek died
I think for me that is when the series finale happened for me lol

I'm watching the first season and am not thinking about some 225 episodes down the road. I'm focusing on the point in time in which I am at, and I am enjoying it.

I am in season 2 now and mostly I had been able to block out what happens later too...well, except in epi 2x06, that was a hard one!

I miss Patrick tbh he has so much charisma. It's not even that I can't imagine Mer with another man I just can't imagine her happy period. How can she be happy when she lost so many people in life ? MerDer was such a solid and meaningful ship to me.

Season 2 is almost as bad as what season 12 might be.

Season 2 is nothing compared to season 12, because we knew MerDer would end up together eventually. Now there's nothing worth hoping for. All the hope is gone. I wish Grey's would have ended after S10 then everyone could have had their happy endings. Now there's no hope for a happy ending. There are no characters to root for when you know odds are ABC will milk this show forever and ever until most characters are gone/dead, and they'll keep bringing in newbies that will never live up to the originals' legacies.

Like I said on the Patrick Dempsey board, though: Douchebag McDreamy is better than Dead McDreamy. Because we know Douchebag McDreamy will get his **** together and be with Meredith.

I liked the S02 angst because we knew at the end of the day that they would end up together. It's not like these days when you know that your GA ship might not end up together.
Back in the day we were clueless we thought this show would end with dignity.
So I really liked the scenes we got. The iconic Pick me Choose Me Love me scene I mean ...

Exactly. No one thought that ABC would end up milking it for $$ and would end with dignity like the vast majority of television shows... Honestly, I can't think of a show that has been destroyed like Grey's has. Yeah, shows have gone on too long, but no show that *I've* watched has completely destroyed its nobility as Grey's officially has.
