It'd be amazing...but I guess we know it'll never happen...(well at least I think so, who knows in S15 what will happen)

maybe the whole series will be a dream...

Yeah, their target is till s14 or more, to beat ER. But the show is already struggling, imagine than for 3+ more seasons.

Well it's obvious the writers think killing Derek will be a revival but often times, killing characters hadnt really change things for GA, it had never be a plot point that move stories forward or really makes characters grow....I feel like everytime it had happened, it was just for shock....and sadly I feel it will be the same with Derek's death...

It all felt like it's one cruel terrible dream, everything that happened.

Derek's death wasn't planned, it was rushed and sloppy, it was clear it was because of BTS drama between Shonda and Patrick.

I honestly believe if the entire thing flopped, Shonda could be desperate enough to suggest that the entire thing was a dream of Meredith's prelude to Alzheimer's disease

She'll probably have it be revealed that Derek never existed; he was just Meredith's dream/delusion. I've always suspected that, hence the nickname "McDreamy." Then season 12 will be her actual reality? The first 11 seasons were a hallucination/dream?
