I don't understand why they're having the Maggie centric episode so early in the season. They should have focused more on MerDer's storyline unless they're going to roll this storyline out and then focus on MerDer after the fact. Episode 4 does sound big.

I'm beginning to wonder if Mer IS going to want to move after she finds out about Maggie.

It's definitely a possibility.. especially with what she'll be feeling like the article from EW a while ago? About the new sister being more ahead etc.. and Mer will be questioning herself and who she is.

I dont know why the maggie sl is being about Mer when I thought it'll be more about Richard but im willing to have it play out.

It's about Meredith and Richard. Trust me, it's better this way because it equals more Mer screen time.

As long as it ties in to the MerDer storyline like Patrick made it sound it will, it's fine. Because obviously Mer's childhood certainly plays into her relationship with Derek; it always has. That's why her mommy/daddy issues always get brought up when she and Derek are at odds.

So far it's more about Meredith. I guess they know fans don't really care about heavy Richard drama.. as much as I hate this, at least = more Mer screentime.. and maybe we'll learn more about her past and via flashbacks.

More Mer screentime is always very much welcomed!! And since this is ''the Mer centric season'' the SP started off good, it definitely felt like good old Grey's. When it was sooo about Meredith. Don't really remember what happened to the rest who had no interaction with her.

Yes, Patrick made it sound this way, bot SLs will be played heavily together.

Totally... for me it felt like her career was never the same after she left Neuro, it was pushed a side, with the writers made her fail most of the time. She's the one who came up with the trail in season 4 when she was just a new resident, and was successful.
