They always use Ellen to promote, though she didnt really promote. Nonetheless, it was awesome to see her out.

I dunno how or why Mer ended up operating. And i dont know if. It prompt some future sl. I dont think so. I hope 15 promo will have some Mer too

That's true... it was great to get another appearance of her, especially since we're so deprived lately.

I don't want to hope that it will.. but glad she'll be apart of it, since the surgery is the focus episode. I NEED Meredith in the episode 15 promo.

I don't think she's in there as a general surgeon... before the sneak peek, there was the probability that something would go wrong with her other organs that would warrant Mer's knowledge, but it's very clear that Meredith is in there supporting Amelia. It looks like she takes Stephanie's place after she faints, whenever that is. I'm just hoping that the fact that Mer's Neuro knowledge and the fact she spent so much time in Neuro during her residency is the reason she's pulled in, whoever's idea it is. She would be the next best choice (aside from Shadow Shepherd or one of the other neurosurgeons that haven't been mentioned in a while). Mer knows brains.

And there was another mention from her in episode 8, how she learned from the best.

She sure knows brains, all the time in Neuro. Her first case, her first solo ''attending'' surgery was Neuro and she was on a big successful trail.

Yeah, well, Mer went in there because of her knowledge of the brain but actually she just standed there being a cheerleader...Cant say I am amused about it!

And the promo sucked...no Mer in it either. Hope CTV one is better...

I am sadly getting to the last of my rope...I really really hope 15 have more on it than what the promo suggest...

The ABC promo is boring, this episode is what we've been looking forward for.. after 2 episodes with heavy Amelia, the promo is ALL her too? Jesus. 11B sucks.

And what make it even worse all the promise for ''Meredith centric season'' and we'll see her how she's doing on her own at the hospital... we saw so little of that, and no real focus on her professionally.. we're in episode 14 already.. one case than and there won't cut it. She's just being used as the supportive, comic relief and the ridiculous person crap with Alex. With 1 or 2 scenes per episode.
I can't fault them for no MerDer, with Patrick's time off to deal with his personal stuff, but why they didn't give a good storyline for Meredith on her own is ridiculous!

Makes you wonder if Derek comes home for a reason. He seems to be home for longer, if not for good now.
Maybe DC isn't working out or they found a way for him to work from Seattle. And actually give Mer time to focus on her career now that's the Herman stuff is over. Might feel a little rushed with so little episodes left, though
