I think so, too. Probably close to the end of the episode, though, And in 17 Mer tries to figure out what to do about him. Does she believe him or not. How do they handle their trust issues etc

Or he lost his phone or it was stolen.
I think it's someone he doesn't really know because she didn't answer Mer and hung up, can't see an assistant do that

Steffi doesnt like my theory of the assistant with a crush in Derek who want him for her! LOL anyway, I think it was a wrong number or his phone was stolen...will be the simplest of things probably, but it's obvious it create a scenario of distrust amidst all the others issues they had lately.

I was wondering what would happen if she ask him if he had cheated on her and even if he didnt he feels hurt and answer something vague like "Believe what you want, it does not matter anyway"...that make things worst. OMG that would be so heartbreaking!
