Well we are entailed of our opinions I mean considering all the Izzie stuff and other characters we been fed 1\2 seasons Derek getting an eppy 80% about him wasn't so bad

I like the new characters. They are completely integated withthe new cast and bring a whole new set of storylines. Unlike characters like Mer's best friend wh are added and dropped or the new interns, these characters are driving stories. Good stories. I like them a lot.

I thought this episode was great and although a lot of it was Derek, the stand ou for me was the patient. His patience and egging on of Derek was wonderful. And just to see how much he trusted him. That was inspiring. He should win a guest star Emmy cause it was amazing.

I think I kinda liked the episode. Not for Derek but for the thrill. His dispute with the chief is actually pissing me off. But the episode was good.

Was Isaac supposed to be a muslim? cuz I wouldn't have thought that's actually a common name in muslim countries.

Well the name Isaac in Arabic is Ishaq I think.
Also his accent it gave him away as a different background I don't know.

So, I watched the episode. I'm surprised I actually enjoyed it. And I've figured out why I like Derek this season. They've pitted him against the Chief, who couldn't be more douchey and annoying, so it has allowed me to favor Derek this time around. Ha. Let's see how long that lasts.

Now I am really off the Alex/Izzie train (especially as it looks like they may have a - gasp! - triangle brewing with the Mercy West newbie chick), but my heart did tug a bit for Alex in that final scene when Izzie didn't show up for her cancer treatment. What explanation can Izzie possibly give for her behavior? I mean, really. At this point, I think Shonda is just deliberately making Izzie as unlikeable as possible, lol.

Pretty Eyes is sooooo cute that I don't even care if he's a jerk to everyone.

And I don't like how pathetic and mopey they're making Cristina. She's better than that. As for her and Owen? Booooring. They've gotten stale already.

I think after last week with Derek doing the voiceover, he should do more. In my opinion, it was one of the most moving, most emotion-filled voice over that I've heard in a long while. Patrick has such a rich, deep (and beautiful) voice that it's thoroughly enjoyable to listen to. And makes an even bigger impression on the viewers - in my opinion.
