Episode Description

"Cristina is awarded the first solo surgery among the residents, but must give it up and choose her replacement. Meanwhile Mark performs a cutting edge procedure to restore a patient's ability to speak -- and impresses Lexie in the process -- and Callie can't figure out if Sadie is just friendly or flirtatious."

The only thing I liked was that George and Izzie actually talked. I don't want Mark and Lexie. I want him with Callie so really not happy about them going there.

I am not sure what to think about the promos or this episode. There are parts that I enjoy, but others concern me. For instance, I am bothered by the fact that Webber seems to putting the blame for everything onto Cristina. It doesn't seem fair to let one person take the wrap for the actions of everyone. If she was the only resident slacking I would just be meh. However, she isn't. They all are. Also, I worry that Lexie is using Mark to forget George. I have no problem with Mark and Lexie as a couple. I rather like the idea, but I don't like feeling as though it is rushed or an attempt to forget some one else. Mainly, I don't like to see someone used in the interest of making another person jealous or to get them out of their head. Maybe they will shock me and this will be all about Lexie liking Mark. A girl can hope.

I did like that George and Izzie talked. It is about time. I was starting to worry we would never get their friendship back. Maybe this is the start of it. I would like to think it is, at any rate. Although, it is hard to come back to friendship after a failed relationship. So, in terms of being realistic, I guess it is normal they are just now talking.

While I am psyched by what Alex says, I don't like how it just came out of no where. It seems a bit soon. I hope that doesn't blow up in everyone involveds face. Although, it must shock Izzie to have a man say it to her first.

Another good thing, this brings up one episode closer to the departure of Denny.
