I don't know, it airs in an hour here on CTV, and I'll be watching it there tonight since I got nothing else to watch during that timeframe.

Should be good.

Okay folks... this was a really hard episode to watch in regards to George's father. I cried and cried and was a struggle for me to even get through.

I thought the episode was very good. Sad about George's father of course but I was very pleased with the Christina/George scene at the end. We don't hear too much of Christina's life/family.

Also, liked that even though they still aren't speaking directly to each other Burke and Christina still got their messages to each other.

Maybe they'll be back to actually talking next episode.

Addison and Alex disturbs me. Are they just running out of people for these two to sleep with?

Meredith/Thatcher... it is what it is. Personally, I don't know how I would react in that particular situation with her mom doing what she did but... he still didn't really try so I don't think I would get invested in a relationship with him.

Izzie did good. First time, in a long time.

I was dissatisfied by Mark in this episode- to go from snarling and snarky to "eh, I wouldn't have been a good father, anyway", or whatever it was he said, that quickly? I just didn't get the impression that he'd been angry long enough, at least from what we were shown, to finally reconcile his emotions that way. Oh, well.

And ITA, finally, some more background information on Cristina! I know she acquired a stepfather at age 3, but wow, poor kid- I wonder if we'll learn more about him and how he died, and if she ever got to see him. I have so many questions about that girl! She and George have a sad bond, but at least he knows someone understands.

I'm glad they explained what happens to a person that's experiencing organ failure- maybe that's a subtle message to the public to not let loved ones in those situations prolong their lives longer than necessary?

And ITA about Alex and Addison- I don't see a direct path plotted out for those two. I hope the writers don't muck it up. I half expected to see Mark walk into the bar and catch them.

My friend passed away last year in similar circumstances and I actually learned more about what it physically means when the end of life comes for someone. I had to look away when those scenes were on.

People who need Emmy's right now? T.R. Knight, Kate Walsh and Chandra Wilson. All tugged at my heart strings more then once tonight. All actors are underrated.

George... Just. Wow. That was freaking depressing. I felt for him and his family and was crying through out the episode. I didn't want his father to die at all, and even had false hope that miraculously he would wake up. Because that last scene... Broke my heart. Like wow. I really loved that scene with George and his father when George is telling him about the time he hit the kid, for making fun of him, but lied to his dad about it, and apologizing... Gah. Then the scene where George freaks out after finding out about Bailey and Chief lying to him... T.R. really knocks it out of the ball park through the episode.

You know IW and T.R. play well off each other and I can't imagine how uncomftorable how that is for the actors. Well T.R. mostly since I don't care for IW.

Addison. Fraking hell KW is great. I also cried with her at the beginning when she told Callie about her aborting Mark's baby. The scene where she tells Mark he would've been a bad father? Mean? Yes? True? Yes. Truth does hurt, and IMHO I think it needed to be said. And hell I am on board with the Addison/Alex thing. I squee when I see them together. And as long as my Addie is happy I'm fine with it.

I really liked Izzie donating the check. While it was personal involvement I loved it.

CW... I loved how Bailey could barely look at George in the conference room. So amazing. Then the last scene with her. Gah.

Best episode this season.

Once again, brilliant episode. I never post on these threads for any of my shows but i had enough GOOD things to say about this.....

George's Dad: SAD. sad sad sad sad sad. I litterally cried when they were pulling the plug. It goes against some of my principals but i really really felt for the entire family...even dr. Bailey. This was just so wonderfully written and taken care of that you just couldn't feel anything but heartbreak. The actor who plays George was phenominal. All his scenes showed sooo much emotion I couldn't even keep my tears in check.

George & Christina: My FAVOURITE FAVOURITE part of this epi was their scene at the end. Finally we get to hear some more of Christina's background. We get enough from Meredith, we know that Izzie had a rough childhood. But Christina? Her mother re-married when she was 3...and now we find out that her real father died when she was 9. I'd love to see what the writers do with that storyline and see if they tie it up with why she decided to be a surgeon. I really like the Christina/George scenes though...they should have more. And i love how she didn't try to reassure him or sugar coat anything "Yeah...that never goes away." I was miffed at George's reason for forgiving burke but not Christian though. Of course her career was on the line. And even if it wasn't she was looking out for Burke's career as well. Not justifying it...but you cant be angry at one and not the other. Still loved George though.

Meredeth/Thatcher: I really didn't feel anything with their little scene. The scene with the girls was funny. But the ear wax thing was disapointing....although it was unpredicatble. Usually shows would elaborate on how the father really did have a different side the child never heard of and he was a victim as well...but this one was...nothing. Meh.

Izzie: i actually liked her this eppi. She's not usually my favourite character but in this episode she was awsome. "I have all this money...and I would spend it all to spare George what he's going to go through...but I can't. Its useless." That line broke my heart. Brilliant. And i'm glad that she stood her ground to Bailey...when she said she'd be both. Good Job.

Bailey: I absolutley love this woman. lol what Can i say? she's the tough mother figure of the group....my heart did break for her in this epi though....She was so heartbroken for George. And next eppi looks like she's going to rethink her judgement again. Poor woman.

Alex & Addison & Mark: Yeah...so this is obviously an intense/messed up storyline. lol First off, I'm a Addison&Derek shipper. *runs and hides from incoming tomatoes* so sue me. And i used to love Alex & Izzie. I saw build up there. I didn't see any for Addex. And i dont know why they're trying to make Mark seem like the devil's incarnate! lol I used to be an Addi/Mark shipper as well but with the whole cheating storyline...he just seemed like a confused hypocritical egoisitic bastard....*ugh* I mean...i felt sorry for him up until this epi. 1st of all, he seemed like he really wanted a family with Addi, then she throws back the fact that he cheated on her repeatedly. Which bugged me. And then when Torez asks him if he has any family, and he says Derek was his family, I found myself yelling THEN WHY DID YOU BETRAY HIM???? lol.....just bugged me. And i agree with Janos614...i thought that was a sudden switch too.

Addison/Torez: Cute scene. I loved how Torez was rambling about George's kiss...too cute. lol But the way Addison described how excited Mark was at the news that she was pregnant softened me a bit...I mean, he didn't run away like you'd expect someone like him to do. He stuck and brought stuffed toys for the unborn baby!!! That was sooo bitter sweet it wasn't even funny. I'm like....should i hate him? I dont know, man. Meh...maybe he's just going along with what people say with the whole 'i'll be a bad father' thing.

Burke & Christina: Favourite. Couple. EVER. Even though they're being so frustrating right now I absolutley loved them today. You could tell Christina was emotional this episode b/c of George's father's organ failures. and Burke noticed it too, which is why he gave in and indirectly told her that his hand was fine....that was sweet. now, if we could just get them to TALK AGAIN, everything would be perfect!! I still love how loyal they are to one another...regardless of how stubborn they are. lol

so all in all....amazing eppi! can't wait for next one!!!! Ugh....Derek is going to start a rift between Christina and MEredeth....jackass.

Agreed! Those two are frustrating knuckleheads but they never have a dull moment. I just love them.

Fantastic episode tonight! I can't wait for next week!

This was definitely a sad episode. While I figured George's dad would die it was still so heartbreaking to see. And it really did affect everyone. I'm glad Cristina was able to bond with him after...that was a nice scene.

So the whole Mark/Addison thing is a little confusing to me. I understand that on the day the child would be born you can be emotional but Mark seemed perfectly fine with Addison up until then. Just seemed out of nowhere. Glad we got some more background of them though.

I must say Alex and Addison have chemistry but I don't really see it going anywhere. She knew it was wrong but was still feeling upset. It definitely is interesting though.

The Meredith and Derek scene at the end was so cute! And the scene where Cristina and Izzie tell Meredith she is exactly like Thatcher was funny. It was nice seeing her at least try to talk to him.

Crisitina and Burke really just need to talk. It's starting to get a little old to me. I was happy that Burke talked about his hand in front of her though. Hopefully they will work it all out soon.

I think it was great of Izzie to donate the money and I'm glad she wants to remain a surgeon and get emotionally involved. I like how she and Bailey are really similar in that sense.

The previews for next week were so intriguing. Can't wait!

This be my 1000th post...

I'm officially not on the A/A train. I'm going to officially join the Maddison bandwagon... if I haven't already. I don't remember. I loved Mark's reaction to the baby. Even if he would've been a bad father... there's no reason to think someone like, say, Alex would be any better. They are cut from the same cloth, those two.

I am glad the way the Addison abortion storyline played out. I don't think it came off making her seem selfish or anything. I was worried it would. I understood her side though. And when she explained things to Mark... that was harsh... but a very good scene. That said, the only way she let me down was by kissing Alex in the end. Bad Addison! Although I know plenty of others will be pleased with it...

I LOVED George's outburst at the Chief and Bailey. Excellent scene. Go TR!

And I LOVED that Callie left surgery to support George and his family!

And Chandra Wilson was excellent all the way through as well.

I had trouble watching Burke, but still enjoyed those exchanges too.

And I'm glad that Cristina was the one to talk with George at the end.

I'm more interested in Meredith/Ellis than Meredith/Thatcher, to be honest. I don't care if we never see him again.

I wasn't big on the music used through much of this episode though, I will say. I liked the song when they took George's dad off life support, but other than that, it wasn't as good as usual.

Overall, good episode.

I'm not sure what thread to write this on.

I just watched E! or some show or something and it said that TV columnist Michael Aussielo was calling for the firing of Isiah Washington over his words at the Golden Globes (?).

Am I the only one that really doesnt give a flying **** about what IW has to say about TRK or vise versa?

I can't tell it on screen, on screen they rock.

Burke is one of my favorite characters.

I do not care who the show diva, *******, nice guy is... all I care about is the characters and plot line and firing Isiah would kill one of my favorite storylines and I think would be a disservice to the show.

Let him be an ass.

Everyone goes around crying free country and then when people actually do say what they want everyone gets all pissy and says... he shouldn't say that.

So what. I am tired of PC if thats how he feels thats how he feels.

I would hate to see Burke go (or shudder, be replaced by a different actor) because tabloids can't get enough fodder and make things bigger than they would be if just left alone.

If they fired all the actors who acted like little ****s on t.v. shows or movies ... then we'd be down quite a few good characters.

T.R Knight you rock man. I loved your acting here, its so superb so fantasic it was just wow...George was awesome too. Man T.R Knight needs to do more movies and series {imagines him as a super hero movie}

The kiss between Addison and Alex was hott, I can't wait for more scene's between them. I'm so on board with this ship.

Meredith/Derek-So Over them, they bore me now.

Christina-She's totally a hundered percent redeemed in my eyes. I loved that ending with her and George, they really need more moments together.

Burke-Still meh to me but its nice that he helped George some what here.

Bailey-Seriously rocks too. I loved her acting, the scene's between her and T.R Knight rocked my world.

Izzie-Didn't annoy me for once.

Oh please, get him a new show. Not that I don't LOVE George... but he's a little spaz(zy) sometimes.

It's annoying. I want him to be a man already and not a little boy all the time. Maybe he will be... hopefully this will make him grow.

But I did feel for him tonight... it was horrible.

Christina... I never felt that she needed to be redeemed... I seldom think people that others think need to be redeemed actually need this so called redeeming (ie. Luke of Gilmore Girls season 6... totally not in need of redemption IMO)

Izzie... hot and cold on that girl. But I'm glad she's keeping her getting involved with patients thing... sometimes I think these people are so worried about their love lives they forget they are there to take care of patiens (like that MADTV sketch).

I respect your opinion please respect mine. Its how I feel, I think T,R Knight needs a show. That's me and those are my opinions on the characters so deal with it.
