Yeah, I honestly don't think the general audience would consider Meredith to be in her 30s anymore. She does look age appropriate for a woman in her mid to late 40s. Consider also that Jackson and April are meant to be a bit younger than her, and if we make her in her late 30s it places them in their early 30s. However, they are in their mid 30s now as per the timeline of the show.

This is not relevant to this thread though! As an aside that is on topic, it does make me raise my eyebrows that Arizona remembers she is roommates with Deluca when he gets his ass kicked. Why doesn't the show address this alliances before something gets out of hand?

Meredith does not look like 50. She looks good. Especially if they can grow their hair longer again, she looks younger, in my opinion. They must grow their hair again.

Capshaw actually looks very good (not counting promo for next episode, did she filmed it right after giving birth? lol). And I think most people don't think that Meredith looks old, it's just they are acting like she is 25 y.o sex symbol who is getting all the hot guys, which is not really realistic, IMO.
Her makeup is also not very good. Makeup artists (or whatever they are called) are to blame. And she actually looks better in bright clothes, yet she is always wearing dark colors on show.

Meredith alias Ellen looks then however also weider younger. But with her short hairstyle looked really older. If she grows her hair longer and Meredith does, then she looks younger again. Especially when she braids her hair again to a braid, she looks then for me somewhat playful but good.


In the 5 episodes of Season 13, Meredith looks great.
