if i were the writers, i would writer her out of the show. she clearly has no respect for, either the writers,the actors,nor Shonda Rhimes. like one of the cast members said when that whole IW controversy happened and they said he should keep his mouth shut, i think she needs to keep her mouth shut and not dis-respect the show that made her famous.

i wonder how the other cast members,writers and Shonda Rhimes will act towards her when she goes back to the Grey's Anatomy set June 25th.

Hmmm... she only has stated she's not submitting anything. She hasn't bashed Shonda, nor disrespected the show.

The truth is that Izzie hasn't had any big storyline this season, like Derek, or George or Cristina.

I find it natural to not submit anything.

And I for one I'm glad she stood up for his friend.

She is honest, too honest sometimes it turns on her, but that's why she's that endearing. At least IMHO.

PD stated that the writing was not good,but he did not say its was not good for him to get an emmy I think she should have stepped out,without making a remark.

Um.....he rather threatened to quit the show publically

. During Patrick's Maid of Honor promotion he was blasting the writing of GA quite a lot. I really didn't see him use a lot of tact, but then again PD is judge far more differently compared to KH. KH is always judged on a far more different scale for numerous reasons.

I agree with Jose, and I'm glad she said something. Time and time again I seen actors/actresses put their name in the running for poor quality work. Finally someone says something that should have been said for the past 2 decades of the Emmys. KH had a really good chance of being nominated again just due to the popular vote just because she is a big name and a previous winner. I think sometimes KH can be too honest since it gets her trouble, and sometimes I think she should tone it down. However, in this particular situation I'm glad she didn't. The writing of GA was horrible this season for numerous characters she just had the intergrity to do the right thing by not running because due to certain variables she would have more of a chance of getting nominated again.

agree with you.

I don't want to accuse her of wanting to slap the writers with her statement cuz we all don't know the reasons why she did that (and KH is known for her honest anyways) but it would have been wiser to only say that she wasn't submitting herself and leaving the chances part out.

1) I'm not a huge fan of her, to my memory, i don't think she has any big storyline in S4, not until the point where she started to care about Alex and Ava. all those times before, i don't think she really deserves to be nominated in the Emmy too. i know that isn't her fault, but to say the truth, i think she is right and in fact, i totally respect her decision and i think it's very brave of her to give up this opportunity of winning the category again.

All those times for those actors/actress who won in the Emmys or any other award shows have been those popular and who takes up a lot of spaces in the newspapers or mags, (and please don't take me wrong, not that i don't think they don't deserve to be awarded

), but who wouldn't want to be awarded, and earn the publicity? just for an example, as we all know EP really deserves to win in the Emmy or the SAG awards, but has she won any? she has only nominated in the Emmy in 2007. Now, KH has planted an image for me is that she really cares about the story in the show, not those who only submitted their work to earn publicity.

Most of Izzie's storyline in S4 is about her and George and when they decided to tell Callie that he slept with Izzie in late S3. and surprisingly, shortly after, they broke up and she started to care about Alex and Ava. Although i also like Gizzie, i think they are cute together, i just don't think she is worthed to be nominated this year, so why not give other actresses a chance to win.

2) I don't think this can relate to the IW controversy. IW said an homophobic slur towards TR, i think he deserves to be kicked out of the program, he didn't even acknowledged the fact when one paparazzi asked about this in an after party of an award show. so he thinks of his image more than his friends. and secondly, don't forget he is still a black person (not that i'm racism). Other people could also have said to him, that he's only a black person. who cares if TR is gay or not, he is still a human being who needs a work to survive in this world full of competitions and need a work to earn himself at least, a bowl of food. I truly think he has made a wrong decision to call TR a faxxot.
