I always wanted them to retrieve that friendship, especially when finding out that Derek felt like Mark was like a brother to him. I hope they'll be able to work past those differences. He's trying with Addison, he could at least give Mark that chance as well.

exactly Cause Derek was not innocent in what happened with Addison and Mark...he had fault in it too...

Everybody was at fault I think for that situation in some way. But I hope we don't have to keep this laugh in mind for like 10 episodes where nothing else happens with Mark/Derek.. I hope we'll get to see some sort of other interaction very soon!

they grow up together, they studied surgeon together and they worked together...
they had a lot of things together!! i understand how derek feels on his woman and best friends betrayal... but now things are changed and they could be friends again! c'mon... they form a great duo! both hot and smart!!

Re-building these boys' friendship is a storyline I have been waiting for a while now, and they took a small step last night in rebuilding. I mean how cool was it that they laughed together in the O.R. .

Can I be added? I really want them to be friends again. They laughed last night so I hope that was a start. And ITA with the fact that Derek is trying to at least coexist with Addison. He should try with Mark. Everyone makes mistakes. Loved ones make mistakes but you forgive them (most of the time). Derek should take some lessons from Meredith. He left her and she obviously has forgiven him to some extent. Derek seriously needs to give Mark another chance. A friendship that close can't possibly be completely ruined by one mistake like that.

I don't have a doubt that they'll be friends again one day. It's just the matter of when. And it was so adorable when they laughed. I was like 'Omg, their laughing! Together!'
