I'm glad they're giving her a professional storyline this time. I mean, I like the love story but they seemed to have concentrated more on that with Burke. Now at least they are showing something other than her relationhip.

Last episode was so full of win, and Sandra was amazing, as usual. You could totally see how sad and uncomfortable she was having to pick someone to do the solo surgery.

So true.

To be honest, I didn't like her at first. She was just too abrasive for me. I like my characters vulnerable and flawed like Mer & Izzie. I'm happy to say I have slowly warmed up to her. I like her now, I dare say, even more than Mer sometimes.

I've often find myself liking characters I didn't initially like more than the characters I liked since the beginning. It's nice when a character grows on you, it goes to show that the writers are doing a good job developing it. I don't remember how I felt about Cristina at first, I guess I just thought she was funny. Now I'm totally crazy about her, she's my favorite, even though she's a total bitch sometimes - quite often actually
