Make room for Cristina, the mothereffing queen! How AWESOME was she on the last episode? Seriously, the OR scene gave me chills. She failed last week, and now she's back again! Thanks for keeping Cristina amazing, Shonda, it's pretty much the reason why I can never give up on Grey's

Gah, I love this character! Seriously, everything about her is just made of SO MUCH WIN. Loved how she stood up for her beliefs after saving the girl's life, how she told that girl the truth about her addictions, how she pushed Jackson away even though she seemed to like the kiss. She's loyal, she's fierce, and she's the best thing on this show! IMO.

She's so amazing <3 Definitely the best thing about the show. And I particularly love how her friendship with Mer has been written this season, it's like their scenes just highlight what's best about both of them.

I've only just seen episode three of the current season but I really don't like what the writers did with Yang in this one. They were trying to make her look silly with that peds sortie. Plus they're making her Lorelai-Gilmore-irrational to Hunt's Luke-Danes-sensible. This isn't going to work. Yang is nothing if not totally rational.

And that baseball scene with the 3 main couples -- cheesy! X Files did that 10 years ago and it was awesome.

I hope the writing gets better for Yang in future episodes.

Completely agree. I'm loving al the MerCris moments we're getting. That scene with the phone is just perfect!
Just didn't like that last scene with Owen. It just seemed way-too-unCristina.
Any way, from the promo it looks like maybe this time things might not turn out so good for Cristina.

What peds sortie?

Personally, I'm loving Cristina this season. I think her irrationality is completely justifiable seeing as she's been deprived of doing what she's truly passionate about. Plus, it's nice to see a different side of her. I loved when she cried in Meredith's arms, that whole scene has got to be one of my favorite GA moments now <3

I was re-watching episode 6 (I saw what I saw) and it kills me when Lexie says Cristina was making a toddler cry, and cuts to Cris saying he wasn't a toddler, he was 'like... five!'

She's awesome

OMG! I completely forgot about the "like..five!" line! LMAO! Best part of the episode, IMO.

lovea I agree and disagree about your post. I think it is quite true to her character to break down over not being able to cut. Cristina has always been the one most dependent on the practice. She constantly craves it, needs it, relies on it. She is the only character that I feel would completely collapse if she were to lose her license. Mere, Alex would survive. Izzie did survive.Not saying that it's not important for the other characters. But Cristina...she lives and breathes this stuff. She put her all in it since she was a child.

But her scenes with Owen have been SO OCC. I'm sorry, but Cristina would never say to a guy "I can't breathe without you!" and she would NOT beg a guy to come home.

That. Is. Not. Cristina!

And I love how the next thing you know, she's holding the kid in her arms and he's stopped crying

Another hilarious moment was on the last ep, when Arizona gives her cute speech about peds and as soon as she leaves, Cristina turns to the other doctors and puts her finger in her mouth

I didn't think it was OOC of her to say that, to be honest. I wouldn't have expected that, but I thought it worked, especially with the way she said it. Cristina is all non romantic and tough, but who's to say she can't fall in love? Sure she loved Burke, but her relationship with Owen is intense. It's unexpected for her, and I kinda like the way she's dealing with it, it shows a vulnerable side of her <3 I agree about the 'come home with me' scene, I didn't like it very much. Mostly because it felt like it was more about her desperation over doing something stupid - like thinking about Jackson's hot, hot kiss all night

- instead of being about her wanting to be with Owen.

I just watched a scene from S2 (I don't know what ep), after Cristina lost her baby. And Izzie told her that her guess of the patient diagnosis was right, and she starts crying and saying "I was right."

And then she can't stop crying and she's yelling at George and Izzie and Meredith and she's saying "Make it stop! Somebody sedate me!"

It was the funniest part of the whole episode

That scene was funny at first but then the vibe completely changed to the exact opposite. Poor Cristina....

And I hated the fact that she apologized to Owen last episode.

Could I please be added? Cristina was my first fav character when I started watching and still is. If Sandra decides to quit Grey's, I would too.
