I don't know how they'll let her back into the program. I mean I'm sure they'll find a way, but really. She quit and I'm sure the hospital would find someone else to replace her right?

I miss the old Cristina. But I do believe she'll find a new way in the world by the end of this whole thing.

I'm sure she'll be back soon enough and I am sure she will still have a place. Izzie quit the program for several episodes after Denny died but still got back in. The Chief must be REALLY slow sending those letters saying a person has left.

I watched the final Thorne episode last night.

I had no idea Sandra's character ended up the way she did. Won't spoil for anyone who is still waiting to see it, but WOW!

But now I'm not sure what she meant. If she meant Cristina back like a surgeon or like a funny Cristina. Because now we have crazy/funny Cristina (too much crazy

However, she'll be back. That's important. And how she'll come back it'll be surprise. I think it could be after Christmas hiatus. Maybe something will happen in 7x10 and in the end of episode she'll say she wanna come back to hospital. It could be good cliffhanger. Don't you think?

Saw the last of Sandra on Thorne:Scardy Cat, it was something else to see as someone else then Cristina, half of the time i kept expecting her to say thos Cristina classic lines that she does best lol

I'm really enjoying crazy Cristina right now, she's hilarious. She's always been my favourite of the original 5 because of her comedic genius, so it was hard watching her be all traumatized. But now that she's back to being insane and funny I can deal with waiting for her to be back to surgery.

I'm personally expecting her "badass" return to be something along the lines of: she'll be out of the hospital doing her own thing and end up in the middle of a medical emergency, kick ass at saving someone's life on the spot, Owen-style, and realize her love for surgery isn't gone.

I was thinking about the same thing. It could be great come back. She will have to save someone and she realizes that she still wants to be a surgeon.
I can't wait for what Shonda and other writers wrote for her.

I totally loved Sandra in Thorne. If you ever get the chance to watch, do it!

Cristina's storyline this season is amazing. Of course I want badass-Cristina back, but I love that the only thing she basically lived for is gone now, so she has to figure out her life from a different position.

I think this storyline for her is amazing. Of the original five she's the last one you'd ever expect to quit. Actually, out of the entire hospital... her whole life was about surgery. It's so incongruent with her usual behaviour. Seeing her so broken, and tearfully asking Meredith why she wasn't like that too, that was hard to watch. But Sandra's such a great actress. (And she's from my hometown!

)

I can't wait for the next episode... bartender Cristina would be hilarious.

Indeed, this season, her nuanced character -- traumatized after a shooting at the set's hospital -- is the main focus as everyone clusters around her, trying to change her mind about quitting medicine.

Not surprisingly, Oh was just nominated for two People's Choice Awards: One for best TV actress (the only one from Grey's to be nominated), the other as best TV doctor.

If you go on the site to vote -- the winners for the Jan. 5, 2011, awards are based on fan votes -- there are tons of links to comments on Oh, and glowing press reviews.

"She's always the scene stealer" or "she's the most watchable" even "she deserves her own show."

Asian American actor and novelist Raymond K. Wong acknowledges Oh's ground-breaking role.

"The sad fact is, we Asian actors are limited to playing Asian roles, and there aren't that many..." he writes in the Hollywood Actor Prep. "Chances are, when you see Asians on screen, they are ... bit players."

He says Oh's character is a huge "rarity" because it wasn't specifically written to be Asian -- and Oh got the chance to make an impression through her own talents.

Oh, herself, rarely complains publicly about the stereotype. "You're lumped into a category with people who are just not white," she once said.

But the audience is speaking -- and voting (and blogging and tweeting). And Hollywood is too savvy not to listen.

Dude, if the boring (but pretty) Kate Walsh can be given her own Grey's spinoff show, Private Practice, why not our girl?
