Thanks for the kind words about my dad. Unfortunately someone else had an emergency and his surgery was pushed back to tomorrow, and even that is not sure. He is at the hospital right now, it makes em so mad.

Hopefully despite the not-so-good spoiler, we get at least some great Gizzie scenes

Izzie: They're in the other room.

George: I need you to get over yourself. I need you to start liking my wife. I need you to like her because sometimes I don't and I need you to talk me back into it. You say you're my friend, that's the job.

Izzie: Ok.

George: I need to vent and I need it to be ok.

Izzie: Ok.

George: And I need to vent with alcohol.

George: I got married and I'm scared it was a bad idea.

Izzie: Nobody ever got married and didn't think that at least once.

Izzie: Come on. COME ON.

George: It's just...nothing. She thinks you have feelings for me and that that's the problem.

Izzie: I love that. That's fabulous.

George: And that, uh, I desperately want you.

Izzie: I'm crying. Is she crazy?

George: No, I think she might be a little crazy.

Izzie: I can't breathe, I can't breathe. (George: Shh shhh) We've got to be quiet.

George pulls her to him and bangs his head on the wall.

Izzie: Oww.

The ep that our couple became canon.

I think this was my most anticipated Grey's Anatomy episode because I was pretty sure (because of spoilers) that this was coming. And this thread went nuts.. in a good way.

I so love how they start laughing, but then they stop and are looking at each other.. and their faces turn serious. And George's added line of 'I desperately want you.' which Callie never said, and then he says that Callie might be a little crazy, meaning that he did desperately want her. (but probably though she was crazy over thinking Izzie wanted him)

OMG, I so love S&S. It's not my fave eppy, since I love TAT even more.

But this was the eppy that made me realize how good this couple could be, even if they were committing adultery.

I also realized that George changed a bit what Callie told him earlier. And added some new things, like she was saying he desperately wanted her.

Seeing those scenes makes me happy.

Oh my gosh, I'm so completly honored that you used by title suggestion.

I loved that episode, and when I think about Scars and Souvenirs there are two scenes that come to mind.

1.) The scene with George and Callie, and when she tells him that Izzie has feelings for him. George's moment of realization, and how he has a severe case of word vomit. He tried to brush it off, but he knew what Callie was saying rang true. Instead of trying to reason with his wife ( as difficult as this may have been) he went to Izzie. He chose Izzie one time to many, and I think this shows more then anything where is true loyalties are. I have mixed feeling about whether the George and Izzie sex would have happened if they were sober, or it was just something that was inevitable. What do you guys think?

2.) I also adore the scene at the end when George and Izzie are just looking at each other. You can almost hear it click, in their minds...that what was completly crazy maybe isnt so crazy after all. There eyes locked, and its all over... something new had begun.

I don't think they would have had sex if they were sober. A kiss.. maybe. But I think regardless of whether or not this night had happened, they would have discovered their feelings soon enough.

So the fluffiness of TAT is the kind of Gizzie that I wanna see. But I'll take angst instead of nothing.

I agree.

It was clear that they couldn't have handled the situation of not being able to speak to each other.

It's a shame that they started the way they started, but this was meant to happen sooner or later.
