I know, TR said they were over for now, which they are but then he pretty much said he had absolutely o idea what stories were planned, those actors are totally in the dark. And no writer never changes their mind. Gizzie has been promoted everywhere lately, that lady who went at the school mentioned Gizzie and no other couple and they are still being talked about everywhere. The writers love this couple, and so does Shonda so even if they do not reunite right away, I very much doubt they will just vanish.

I am not losing hope at all, the show is far from over and the actors have no way of knowing what will happen. Gizzie has a big fanbase and I am sure Shonda knows that. We just have to keep the faith and keep on fighting.

I haven't ever lost hope, i have to believe that they will get back together or else i would probably break down in tears as sad as that is. I see it as we have many years to go so who knows what will happen. I have a feeling that for now it's going to be a 'will they? wont they?' relationship.

That is hat Katie said in an interview, that she could see them being will they, won,t they for the next few years, that tells me even though they are over for now, the feelings and the love will not be over and the pining will still be there. I think she put them togetehr maybe to establish that possibility but thought it was too soon for them, she mentioned while she loved them, she was not sure she was erady for them, but she does love them, we know that, so I can see her being ready for them down the road. They are too perfect not to be together because, IMHO, they are the best couple this show ever came up with

i will be happy if george and izzie have a will they/won't they relationship..all the greatest ships in history had that type of relationship until the pivotal "they're finally together" scene.....as long as we get hints that they love eachother and want to be together than i will be fine with the littlest of hints.

Actually I agree. Any type of hint will make me happy as long as its possible.

Yes me too. I freaked out at first too until I reheard the interview and he said he had absolutely no idea what was going on, LOL. They are over for now as they have broken up and so are he and Callie, but I think both relationships could very well be explored in the future. Proof in point, Justin said in his mind, Alex and Izzie were over but now, ugh, there are possibilities they might hook up again, though if this happens, I will go nuts, but just seeing actors don,t know anything and things constantly change on a TV show until the last episode.

I could easily see George and Izzie be an off and off, will they won't they relationship.

We have a pretty loyal fanbase and I don't think Shonda would want to anger us even more by totally ignoring us, plus I always thought she loved thsoe two

George: I thought we were all done with the whole muffin thing.

Meredith: Are you okay?
Izzie: Of course I’m okay. I’m a millionaire. Fruit? What do you guys think about B&B's? I'm thinking about opening B&B in Vermont where the foliage is, you know?
George: Maybe you should go back to sleep.
Izzie: Can't. I'm going to the hospital.
Meredith: Are you going to talk to the Chief?
Izzie: I'm going to clean out my locker. I could buy a hotel. How much do you think a hotel costs?

George: That is 8 million... Eight million dollars does not like to have juice spilled on it

Izzie: Clearly, the doctor thing wasn't working for me. So go about your business, run labs, and cure cancer.
George: You're not going home. Either you hang out with us or we call your mother.

Cristina: Ooh.
Meredith: She's just a few hours away and I'm sure she wouldn't mind coming and staying with you, all day.
Izzie: You wouldn't.

George: Dialing.

Izzie: Whoa, hey, hey. Okay, I'll just...hang out in the locker room.

At lunch:

Izzie: I think I’m gonna buy something for Bailey and for Burke. What do you think Burke would want?
Cristina: Nothing you could get with money.
George: He likes jazz.
Izzie: I’m not buying him a CD, George, I’m a multi-millionaire. I need to buy him something... big.

Izzie: Have you told Derek yet that you broke up with Finn?
Meredith: I'm giving it time.

George: You're not rich until you deposit that check.
Izzie: Do you ever feel guilty?
Addison: I'm sorry?
Izzie: Being rich. 'Cause I have all this money now and I don't really feel like I did anything to deserve it. And I can't really talk to my friends about it because... (whispering) they're all so poor.

George: Standing right here, Izzie.

Tyler: Dr Stevens! (slowly) How are you?
Izzie: I'm good nurse Tyler. (in the same voice he used) How are you?
Tyler: Good. Good.
Izzie:I'm not crazy.
Tyler: Okay.
George: He was trying to be nice.
Izzie:It didn't feel very nice.
George: Do you need a break? Maybe take a nap. In the on-call room.
Izzie: George. Look, it's Callie! (calling out) Hey, Callie.
Callie: Hey, you're back. That's good.
Izzie:Yeah, everythings all good. Not back, just visiting. Hey, you know - George really likes you, are you still mad at him?
Callie: I'm not mad at him. (? not sure this was right)
Izzie: Because I would feel terrible if you were, because as good as I am right now, I wasn't really very okay the other night, and you gotta love a guy who would go and help his friend when he could be spending the night in a hotel room with a gorgeous woman, right?
Callie: Just stop, okay? Just please stop.
Izzie: She's a little bit of a martyr, huh?
George: Lookin' that way.

I love how George apparently has Izzie's mum's phone number.

I love love love episodes, and I've watched those scenes A LOT. I love them. The fact that George knows the number of Izzie's mom by heart is adorable.

And the conversation they mantain with Addison is just hilarious. Actually all the episode was hilarious with the woman who had her DIU stuch on his ex-husband's p3nis.

What I like about this episode, Gizzie-wise, is that George offered to take care of Izzie even if that meant he had to do paperwork.

Aww, I love that episode, so sweet. He has her mom on his dial, I love that, I am pretty sure he is the only one she gave her mom's number too, that shows how much she trusts him and how close they are given her relationship with her mom. I also love the whole standing right here Izzie, for some reason, pathetic I know, I remember exactly the matter-of-fact tone he had saying that, cracked me up. Oh and the deleted scene, makes me so mad they cut that off. It showed that while Izzie hates Callie, she loves george enough to stick up for him and try to save a relationship she hates. I love how she says George is so great, the way she talked about him in that deleted scene I think she had already gone head over heels without noticing, she just seem to be gushing about him, aww

I can live with Gizzie not being together as long as we see like in episodes 10 and 11, they are still in love, right now, we do seem to see it more from Izzie's part. But I want there to be some pining and jealousy there. Let,s be real, if they are consistent, those two, especially Izzie, are always going to have a problem with whoever else they date and will always place each other first. Let's look backward: George was a fixture in Izzie's relationship with both Alex and Denny. And Izzie was a fixture in his relationship with Callie (she even poked her nose in the Mer and Olivia ones).

They need and love each other so much, I could see that being a big problem if they date again, which of course won't be a big problem because I am hoping they realize they don't want anyone else but each other in the end.
