'Let The Truth Sting' aired here tonight, and remember this exchange:

Charlie: Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe there's hope. Maybe he'll tell her and you two will get together and end up happy.
Izzie: You think?
Charlie: Not that I'll be alive to see it.

There was no time frame on the end up happy part, and since the rest was true - I hope this was an indication that they'll end up happy together.

3.02 I am a Tree

This ep had pretty much no BGL interaction (wrong, I know

) there was just this exchange about Izzie:

George: So um--- um, Doctor Bailey…
Bailey: Surgeons don’t say “um” O’Malley. If you wanna be a surgeon O’Malley learn to speak like one.
Alex: Look, he wants you to talk to the Chief about Izzie, see if she can come back.
George: She’s just baking-- a lot of baking and it just seems a waste for all her talented medical skills to go into muffins. We just thought you might be willing to help.
Bailey: Stop talking.

George said she has talented medical skills.. hee.

Oh, and George is there when Bailey turns up later, but they all leave so Bailey can talk to her.

3.03 Sometimes a Fantasy

Izzie: I’ll see you guys in there.
Meredith: Everything is gonna be fine. Bailey is on your side. And the chief is---well, he’s going to put on his angry face but he’s on your side too.
George: Everybody wants you back in that building.

George: You’ve been standing out here for a while.
Izzie: For a while I stood over there.
George: Maybe you should sit down.
Izzie: I don’t wanna sit down.
George: Maybe you should sit down anyway.

Izzie: Go inside, George.
George: Izzie, seriously…

Izzie: I hate the bride thing. I hate the pictures in the magazines with the girl with the veil and the flowers that she’s sniffing. Like it never occurred to stick her nose in there until there was a camera pointed at her. I hate the idea of bridesmaids. And the colors. And does the bustle make my ass look bigger or smaller. I hate the whole thing. And I never wanted to be that girl, that girl is stupid. And shallow. Why the hell is that girl still running through my head?

George: Izzie…
Izzie: I’m going to do it, George. I’m going to walk through those doors. I just need to make sure that when I’m standing in front of the chief of surgery, I am not thinking about my wedding dress. And that’s gonna take a minute.

Izzie: It's strawberry.

George: It's good.

Izzie: You left spit on the spoon.

George: No I didn't.

Izzie: You did a little.

i love that picture of George at the door! That has to be one of my favorite moments because i think he looks really hot there. I also like the scene earlier in the episode where George, Meredith, and Callie are in the hallway at the house and it's morning time and his hair is unkempt, he is just really good looking in this episode.

wow...yet another reference to a wedding in a strictly george/izzie moment/conversation...if i didn't know any better i would think that shonda was trying to tell us something..hmm.but i can't put my finger on what...

*starts exhibiting symptoms of withdrawal*...where is my GIZZIE?!?!

OK guys, so ... I suppose I'm not the only one who watched the Oscars on ABC tonight. Katherine was gorgeous, as usual. But what made me happy is what happened right after the ceremony ended.

There was a promo for the return of the ABC shows. Only 2 clips were used for GA (at least that I remember of). The first one was Derek looking at Meredith (I don't remember in which episode). The second one was the first almost kiss between George & Izzie in 4.02 (at Meredith's house). I wasn't sure they would use Gizzie moments so it made me really happy !

I was reading the posts on Grey Matter and I loved this one (written by a girl named Alicia).

Gizzie have been massively promoted since they started. Which makes me happy to no end.

And, as always, thanks for the recap. Adding it to the first post. 2 caps have gotten my attention. One, when George is looking at Izzie while Callie is looking at George. It's pretty telling about the way that triangle was handled. No wonder why Callie thought Izzie had feelings for George. Sometimes I think that when she said that 'She loves you' what she really wanted to say was 'You love each other'. Because if she knew that George didn't feel anything towards Izzie then she wouldn't be that desperate. Well at least IMO.

The second one is the George's breast stare.

I know it wasn't intentional but it cracks me up.

Oh and you can see Izzie smiling for the first time since Denny died. And it was because of George.
