George: Izzie?

Izzie: What?

George: I just dropped $8.7 million dollars on the floor.

Izzie: And?

George: I shouldn't be able to drop $8.7 million dollars on the floor! You need to deposit that check!

Izzie: George...your father's surgery is tomorrow. Any chance you're misplacing your anxiety on me and my check?

George: No, there is chance. That check ruins my morning every morning. It belongs in the bank. Would you just please...as a favor to me...just put it in the bank? Please?

Izzie: Hmm. No. But if you're nice to me for the next 7 minutes I will give you a ride to work.

George: You don't deserve $8.7 million dollars.

Izzie: Oh, so true. So true.

Izzie: Surgery's today?

George: Yeah. I'mOK.

Izzie: Yeah, I have a really good feeling.

George: Yeah?

Izzie: I didn't even bake anything for you.

George: Thank you.

George: It's not...did you drop it? It's not here! Izzie, it's not here.

Izzie: I deposited it ok?

George: You didn't deposit it in the garbage disposal or something like that did you?

Izzie: It's at the bank. Ok, George? Now just shut up about it already?

George: It's at the bank? It's earning interest?

Izzie: Did I not just say shut up about it already?

George: Izzie, it's real now. That money...that money could travel, it could buy things. It could buy many, many things. It a...that's a lot of money Izzie.

Izzie: Shut up about it George.

George: I'm just saying...life is short. Cancer happens. And surgery happens. You know just..."gather ye rosebuds" You have 8.7 million rosebuds Izzie. You gotta spend some rosebuds. That's what I'm saying.

Izzie: You made me burn my French toast.

George: You can buy new French toast!

Izzie: How can you be ok with Burke but not Cristina?

George: Her career wasn't on the line when she lied to me.

Meredith: Did you get any sleep last night?

Izzie: No. I stayed up baking and cleaning the bathroom floor in case George wants to lay down on it. It's weird, I have all this money. And I would spend every penny of it to save George from what he's about to go through. But I can't. It's useless. So I made cobbler.

Meredith: Cobbler's good.

Izzie: Yeah.

Hi everyone ! I'm sorry I haven't been around much lately.

I love these episodes. The breakfast with the check and the French toast are legendary.

And I love when it looks like George is proposing (if you don't hear the conversation, of course).

It's amazing how these episodes combine funny moments and extremely sad moments.

Those are gorgeous Sophie, I love them.

I love when she holds his hand and when she says she would give all ehr money to spare him pain. That is what I love about them, they love each other more than they love themselves.

Virginie_GW I completely agree about that quote. When Izzie said she cleaned the bathroom floor so George could lay on it... I just died. She so just wants to take care of him...and pamper him and feed him cobler. She's just absolutely in love with him and she doesnt even know it yet.

I mean especially in that episode you can see it, their married-coupleness. How they argue about the check and french toast. It is completly adorable.

As for the handholding there are no words. It was just so emotionally raw and powerful.

Yep, some people say they acted like girlfriends before they had sex, but to me, they always acted like an old married couple, especially in that episode with the little cute fight about the check and the french toast, and I love how hard TR and Katie try not to laugh.

They are so irresistible together, shipping them might involve a whole lot of heartbreak, but it is oh so worth it, they are so worth it.

I know.. I just loved what she said.. that she would spend all of her money on George, to save him from pain. And even though someone who was just a good friend might do that too, it's... so much more than that. Their relationship is so emotionally beautiful.

The handholding - I had to include both close up shots of that because if you don't already know, I freakin love their hand holding moments. If I had my way, there'd be one every episode. Or at least every second episode. Gimme some more of em Shonda! Please?
