| That interview was amazing, I love that she loves George and Izzie for the same reason we do, the pure joy they get just being near each other. | wow...looking back all of the hints of gizzie were soo painfully obvious its ridiculous that people claim that it was 'outta left field' and the 'platonic chemistry' defence is even more ludacris..(is that how you actually spell that word? i think the rap industry has tainted me...) izzie couldn't open her mouth without mentioning george to save her life....which is why they are so MCOBVIOUS!!!!! __________________ "Something was falling into place..." I really think some people saw the hints but chose to ignore them, either b/c of their own bias (if they love another ship) or b/c of the fact that it was G & I and that they never thought possible that Izzie could for George. Obviously, that's only my personal opinion. However, I have to say that loving a couple doesn't make me blind to hints of other pairings. | ITA. I have to say that, most of the time, I prefer guys who are not conventionally (is that a word ?) handsome. To me, George is everything that Izzie said. It would be my dream to find someone like him: sexy and cute at the same time, funny, sweet and trustworthy. He makes mistakes. The adultery was completely wrong and there was no excuse for what he did. | Some people say that George used Izzie just to get rid of his marriage but I don't agree with them because they just don't wanna see that he loved her before he was married with Callie.George never imagine that Izzie can see him more then a friend and that is confirmed when Callie said to him that Izzie has feelings for him.When he heard that he was very surprised and then started laughing describing Izzie in the way he's seeing her "She's Izzie, she's blonde, she's stacked, she's a supermodel, I'm George" (by the way I love that scene) saying that he's George like Izzie could never look at him in the way Callie's talking about. And it's another adorable scene when George keep talking about Izzie on and on making Callie jealous without he even realize that So I think George hasn't realized that he love Izzie because he never hoped that Izzie will love him back and when he discovers that Izzie loves him...he just want to be with the woman that he's in love with...and I'm sure that we'll have more Gizzie scenes because I don't think that all the big love they have for each other will just disappear here are the scenes that i've talked about: GUBA - George talking about Izzie Last edited by WhisperWord : 02-11-2008 at 10:43 PM. | |||

| If I'm sincere I never saw the hints, probably because I hadn't paid attention, but once you start analyzing the scenes, you see that there are indeed MANY MANY hints that make their story believable. People are still too shallow and don't like that the geek could get the hottie. The geek is supposed to be with the equivalent female geek, the underdog, not with the steamy blonde. I am glad that Shonda left those clichés behind and gave G/I a chance. We all have seen that what they've had it has been the sweetest thing in this show. | ^ The best is yet to come.. definately. 2.23 Blues for Sister Someone. aka - Probably my favourite Season 2 episode because of the BGLness.  Izzie: Brain mapping. Um it’s where you locate the area of the brain where the seizures originate and surgically remove it with minimal damage to the surrounding tissue. Derek: Excellent. Gwen: Excellent except for the fact that it’s not working and I’m losing billable hours. Unless any of you are looking to get out of a bad marriage. (Derek kinda avoids her look. Izzie and George look at him, then exchange looks with each other) Izzie and George: No. Gwen: Dr. Shepherd? Derek: Yes. (turns to face her) No. I'm fine. Thank you. Gwen: Really? Derek: Yes. Gwen: 'Cause I’m an excellent divorce attorney. Derek: I'm sure you are. Gwen: And there was a look you know between these two. Derek: (looking at Izzie and George): A look?  Izzie: I don't know. George: No.  Izzie: Make her seize. How do we make someone have a seizure? Derek: Get creative. Do your research. George: Well, if all the normal methods have failed then what are we supposed to do?  Derek: Use a strobe light. Get her drunk. Hang her up upside down from the ceiling and hit her with a wiffle ball bat, for all I care. Just make her seize. Because until she seizes I don't know where to operate and if I don't know where to operate I can't get this woman out of my life. And this woman, is not how I like to start my mornings.   Izzie: I'm just curious, George.   Izzie: (cont'd) ..Curious George. Get it? Never mind. All I'm asking is.. where do you live? George: Listen to this, there's an old school arcade game that's been known to induce seizures if you reach level 53.  Izzie: Our divorce lawyer is so not playing an arcade game for 53 levels. Izzie: You’re seriously pissed at me because of what happened between you and Meredith? George: No. (pauses) Yeah. George: I mean if you knew she didn’t love me, why? What kind of friend does that? Izzie: You didn't want to hear it.  George: Yes. Yes!  Izzie: You didn’t want to hear it! You wanted to keep on loving her, George. You did not want to hear it!  Oh my god! You knew the risks! George: Stop!  Izzie: You knew she was in love with someone else! Gwen: .. And it's no coincedence that when the work stopped, the seizures stopped. Until these two started arguing. Derek: I'm going to talk to them about that.     George: So we spent the night at Callie’s last night. So we figured we’d just spend the night here.  Izzie: Okay, so um you’re back then just for tonight?  George: Well Callie’s here for tonight. I’m uh- I don’t know. It’s my room. You know, I pay rent.  Izzie: Well, welcome home. Also: Izzie: (to Meredith.) For the record, I am on your side today. George sucks. And.. Gwen: George. I don't know much, but I do know fighting. And people who fight like you and Izzie? Those people love each other. She misses her friend.  I love how Callie looks between the two in that last scene. And Gwen.. she was fun. I wish she could be on the show again.. maybe she can help George out with the divorce.  Or wait.. is that done already? Anyway.. | I love Izzie's look. If that's not complete jealousy, I don't know what it is. That episode was such a great episode for George & Izzie. I loved that divorce attorney. I wish she could come back. But, at the same time, I don't want her to have health problems again.
