Wow, Ally, what a beautiful post, you gave me hope. Oh, I don't think the Gizzie fans are giving up, the ones I have been talking to are sad, yes, but more determined thanh ever to fight for those two.

And what you said about Gizzie is true, I was asking a friend if she was still a Gizzie fan and she said of course, once a Gizzie fan, always a Gizzie fan, so what you said made me think of her.

I know some who tried to stop rooting for them and root for other couples when they thought they were going to end, but they always came back. There is something about them that draws you bck no matter what and I think that is special.

I'm quite sure no Gizzie fan will ever give up. I know I won't. I adore them and, even though what happened recently made me sad, I never stopped loving them. They have something special. Something worth fighting for. And as long as the show lasts, I refuse to give up and I'm pretty sure all the Gizzie fans feel the same way. No matter what people say, Gizzie has a huge fanbase and it's not going anywhere.

Yes all the Gizzie fans I know actually love george and Izzie even more now because of what they went through, so i am sure nobody is giving up, no real fan anyway.

wooot...a bit melodramatic there, but gizzie brings out the passion in me..and this slump just makes me more determined than ever!

george and izzie are obviously going to be revisited...anything less would be shoddy and terrible writing..i mean, i'm sorry-no couple has that many almost kisses for nothing...they were being set up for some AMAZING reunion...(i'll bet hot,passionate kiss leading to love declarations and smokin hot sex)

I loved them talking about that too. Some people seem to think George will sleep with someone else in episode 18 of Season 4 (or at least would have if Season 4 had of got an episode 18..) because George slept with Meredith in 2.18 and Izzie in 3.18, but it was only supposed to be a parallel between these two couples.

Laura, I think it's better if we don't mention KH in the title, because I feel that some other posters could feel offended, since it would seem that KH is only a BGL fan, and she is more like a multishipper.

I love George and Izzie (separately and together) too much to give up on them. I honestly don't understand people who stop shipping couples when things get tough. Well, I can see it as some kind of defense mechanism, but if you really love something, you don't give up.
