What you said actually makes a lot of sense and I agree with you. If I knew they're going to have a happy future, I would find that rather funny. But the thing is I don't. She's the only one who knows what's in store for them.

You could be right. Maybe that's what she has in mind. But, for now, we don't know if George and Izzie will get back together. We all have our opinion about the question but we don't know anything for sure. That's why I don't find the whole bad sex thing funny.

That said, I really hope you're right.

I think she meant that it's an interesting journey for George as a character, an important moment of his evolution. He questions his life, the choices/mistakes he made and he realizes a number of things. At least, that's how I interpreted "wonderful".

Yeah, that's a better interpretation. Although I can't help but have the feeling they could've explored more the fact that George was a repeater.

Me too. The storyline only lasted a few episodes. Sometimes, I even forget that he's a repeater since he does a lot of things on his own.

Yes, and Shonda does that a lot. She keeops starting to explore Alex's past and drops it, mentioned the horrible death of Cristina's father, which explained her so well, then dropped it, brings up Hannah once a season and never goes further, never brought Izzie's mom. She starts very interesting stories, like the ones about George failing, and does not follow through at all. She seems to be totally dependent on what fans want and since most fans don't really agree on anything, what we get is incoherent and inconsistent.

about the podcast, she did say she felt so bad for George and Izzie, what she found funny was trying to figure out what happened in the bathroom, but still I think she should have been more atuned to how angry and hurt the Gizzie fans are, which is why sometimes I wonder if she even knows we exist and how many of us love this couple more than anything on the show.

I hope you are right Jose and we get cute fat Gizzie babies and married Gizzie, there is nothing I would want more.

I have to agree about the comment "I would laugh if i knew they were going to end up together." because the truth is that if they do end up together (whick i truely believe they will) i probably will look back at episode 7 and laugh. Although i hate that episode and have no interest in watching it again anytime soon i have to admit that some of the stuff that happened between Gizzie in that episode was funny. Like when she pulled his belt off so fast that it came back and hit him, i almost fell off my chair i was laughing so hard.

. And I agree with everyone, if they get back together later and they clearly say it was stress, guilt, bad timing and not chemistry, I could laugh about it. But if that was the show's way of telling the George and Izzie fans they were wrong for rooting for this couple and they have no chemistry (even though I think they have more than any couple), then that is not something I could ever forgive them for. I do not like being told what to think, and I love this couple no matter what the show does to them, so I would not appreciate them being ended so horribly.

Hey everyone this is my first time posting on this forum, and my first post had to be in the Izzie and George thread since they are pretty much my all time favorite couple ever!!

I agree with everyone on the whole "no chemistry" storyline Shonda made being a huge slap in the face to all of us Gizzie fans. I still feel like crying when i see that scene of them in the bed smiling, and then all of a sudden it's ripped away from us. That scene was almost cruel in the way they made us think it finally was going to work out and then they just tore it away from us.

I do, however, beleive that Izzie and George will 100% be together again somewhere soon down the road. They said "someday" and then danced (which was about the cutest moment ever!) and i just don't think Shonda would put that in there if they were really going to end. In the meantime, in the last episode i was feeling that Izzie and Alex were going to get back together, anyone else get that feeling?

Maybe maybe not. This is not the first time we see Alex still have those feelings for her. he kissed her last season and she turned him down and then later slept with George and fell for him. Last season, another patient mentioned Alex having a thing for her, yet she went for george. In 4.4, they again showed Alex having feelings for her. The thing is it is always one-sided on Alex's part, we have never had any indication Izzie felt the same way. In fact, after 4.4, Shonda said Alex was not over Izzie but she was totally over him, so there seems to be a continuation of that.

I hope it continues to be one-sided because I cannot stand Alex and Izzie.
And yes, i cannot even see that scene without tearing up, I never tore up over a couple before, that shows just how much I have fallen for them, I guess. I get so angry and sad at shonda.

I do hope this is not the end, they are too amazing to end forever.

That's true, it is pretty much one sided. I don't want to get killed here because i definitely love Gizzie the most but before they got together i kind of liked Alex and izzie together. Granted he cheated on her, but george cheated on Callie and we all still love him. I guess what i'm saying is if for the time being Izzie and George can't be together i wouldn't mind a little something between Alex and Izzie for a while till it's the right time for Gizzie to happen again.

I would much, much prefer the Gizzie storyline to keep going, but i'm just saying Alex isn't the worst guy i could think of for her, he was pretty sweet to her at times. Of course, then if Izzie is going to start dating again then we would assume George is too and the thought of George dating anyone besides izzie bothers me...so maybe they should both just stay single till they can work things out. lol

Nobody will kill you, LOL, it is a free country and board and nothing says you can't be a multi-shipper. For me, the reason I hate Alex and Izzie is I just see no chemistry, has nothing to do with the cheating as everyone cheats on the show. I just never saw the chemistry or liked them at all, but I know some do, and that is fine as long as everyone respects the other's tastes.
