I always thought the sibling things was an excuse that the people who don't like the couple used to bash it. I never gave it that much importance. I don't think those peeps think George and Izzie are siblings. And there was a mention of that argument against gizzie on 4.05 when they said they were in sexy love not in sibling love.

Do you guys remember the WTF face that Izzie puts when Mer says that? I love it.

She gives this metal cutting laser look to George. It's understandable since George was her best friend and instead of supporting her he was kind of telling her the painful truth, which is something that BFF sometimes have to do.

I love that conversation. And then when Izzie flies away George says something like "that was wrong on so many levels" but then admits "it was good" and both George and Cristina laugh.

In the last scene it's proved that although in the start they were kind of shoving it in her face the fact that she made a mistake sleeping with Alex, that they're always gonna be there for her.

Thanks for those images, she looked so hurt that george of all people would say that, the look was much more sad than angry.

Yes the sibling excuse is used a lot every single time someone does not like a couple. On Lost, the Sawyer and Kate fans say Jack and Kate are like siblings and the Jack and Kate fans say Sawyer and Kate are just sex, remind anyone of anything, LOL. On One Tree Hill, some fans were saying Lucas and Peyton were like siblings even though Lucas went after her romantically from the very start. It is just a very convenient excuse.

The fact that George and Izzie did not fall in lust and love at first sight means nothing, most relationships do not, their love grew over time, which makes all the more special and deep.

OMG!! that picspam totally reminded me of something...i think it is CRAZY!!! foreshadowing that out of everyone and everything izzie could be looking at, she is looking at george when she is bragging about how good in bed she is...almost liike "just say the word and i'll prove it to you.."..lmao..she fully has wanted to jump his bones since 2.10 if not earlier

Yeah. Total foreshadowing. That reminds me of what Shonda and Betsy Beers discussed in the SAS podcast. They said that you could see it coming and that it was all over the place. They also said they were surprised George & Izzie hadn't just grabbed each other in surgery one day (or something along those lines). I loved when they said that.

Thank you for the explanation. But I have to say I always thought that, if there was going to be an anniversary date, it would have been in March (since SAS & MFM aired in March).

Congratulations ! To put the avatar you just have to go to "User CP". Normally, the option "Edit avatar" is now available in "Settings & Options". It did require a bit more than 100 posts to appear in my case though.
