Yeah, I think once she had some time & distance, she realized that it wasn't meant to be & that they were better off apart. I think she really started to grow once she was away from George too, I liked her a lot better once their relationship was over.

I think Callie realized what a special bond George and Izzie had. Remember she told Alex Izzie would never forgive him if she couldn't say goodbye to George?

I agree, Callie got that there was something between Izzie & George that no one else could really grasp. They didn't talk about it a lot, but Alex's reaction proved that he knew it too.

Yes she got that they were soulmates and each other's persons like Mer and Cristina. And yes I think Alex knew too, which is why he was scared hearing the news might kill her.

George: Another sleepless night in Seattle.
Izzie: Who was it this time? Hairy Back Guy?
George: You know who I miss? Inappropriate facial hair guy. You know, he did his own dishes.
Izzie: Tattooed ass guy made coffee.
George: Yeah, he was a keeper. What? What? Meredith? I am over her.
Izzie: Ok.
George: I am.
Izzie: Yeah, I can see that.
George: But, is she trying to set some kind of record?
Izzie: Well, at least she has a goal. Oh.
George: Oh, he’s new.
Izzie: And I shall name him ‘Running Guy’.
George: You know who I heard Alex come home with last night? You.
Izzie: I don’t want to talk about it. Actually, I really do want to talk about it, but he doesn’t want to talk about it because there were…technical difficulties.
George: What?
Izzie: You know, he didn’t…he…
George: No.
Izzie: Stop it. You can’t say anything. George, stop it.
George: I’ll at least think about making fun of him the next time I see him.
Izzie: He said it never happened before.
George: That’s what we all say. And I mean ‘they’. That’s what ‘they’ all say.

OMG that scene when he mouths yes I am and she smiles at him. First traces of sexual chemistry in that scene. The flirting was just so sexy and adorable.

Yes and flirty. Love it, and proves they weren't acting like siblings before season 3.

One of my favorite moments on the show period.

You can tell TR and Katie loved working together. They beam when they have scenes.

& I do think their scenes are so fun & work so well is because of how much fun TR & Katie had together
