Yes, Cristina is Sofia's godmother. Before 10.21 I was all in with Arizona being the godmother. Now I would love Mer Actually I always would love her as godmother. But I think it will be Callie or Arizona.

Arizona I kind of get, but why Callie? She doesn't really have a relationship with either.... Mere makes way more sense to me than Callie.... I still much prefer Mere to either of them and I'm not sure there is anything that really favors Callie or Arizona more than Meredith.

I would love for Meredith to be closer to them. Owen would be perfect as a godfather. He loves children.

I was also a little turned off by the way Callie & Arizona treated April so I'm still on the fence with that friendship. April has a more forgiving nature though.

The only reason I thought of Callie is because her faith has been discussed previously and Arizona is not religious. I'm done with calzona and japril not even 10x23 made things better for me. I'd much rather see Mer the godmother.

I think 11x05 will give us some really good, cute Japril moments. I can see Owen as godfather, I am not sure about godmother though. I am with the rest of you though, Calzona has not treated April very well, certainly not as "friends" should imo.

I don't think so either Monica. I think we were meant to forget that, or perhaps it was really just supposed to be a joke. But seeing as April was in a pretty bad place, her new husband had really hurt her and she probably just found out she was pregnant. She felt vulnerable and turned to her so-called good friends who were not very accommodating to her. I can't get over it :p

It's disappointing because I felt like they did something good by introducing kepzona as friends. It was something refreshing and interesting amongst a dry 10a. It had a lot of potential. Arizona has never been in a good place since she lost her leg and April definitely needed a friend other than Jackson. Since Mer is now without Cristina and will probably get reprimanded for becoming jolex's third wheel, I think April would be the best to befriend. Let calzona deal with their issues, and the also seem to be occupied in the surrogacy thing as well.

I, personally, never got over that. It was an extremelly bad friend treatment.

It was such a horrible friend move because Arizona of all people knew what it felt like when her spouse didn't accept her for who she is. Totally insensitive.

Seeing as they are going to have to figure out what it means to be Avery's, I'd love for Jackson and Mer to have a little chat. Seeing as Jackson's dad cracked under the pressure and bailed, he may feel like he doesn't know how to be a good father. Even though Meredith did not have a great mother, she has been an amazing mom to Zola and Bailey. She's career driven yet always puts the needs of her children first. She's a good role model for Jackson as she proves that the type of parent you had does not determine the type of parent you become.
