i just hope that once the episode has aired in the usa they release an interview or something in which they give us some hope...
i dont think that tweeting them (as long as its not done in a rude/offending way) is bad at all, i guess its good for them to see that fans are invested in the characters. and if they see that we are upset they might give us at least something to hold on.
i mean, in theory, the fact that jesse tweeted that picture yesterday might in itself be a cue, unless he has some really really creepy morbid taste

You are right guys. People lose babies relatively often in real life . Two of them that I know couldn't ever have children after, one was just inexplicably infertile and the other almost bled out and had to have a hysterectomy. Hell, I worked with someone who got to have her daughter for 10 months, just long enough to fall madly in love with her, just to lose her to cancer. She worked in oncology research btw. Reality does often surpass fiction.

But you know what? While I like drama, I'm not a freaking masochist. I guess I care too much for these two fictional characters to even be able to watch a dead baby SL for them. Because I know that if it happened to me I'd be completely devastated. And I don't want to see devastation for these two for the rest of the shows duration. In that scenario, I honestly think I'd rather break up with Shonda and her land of torment permanently

Screw acting challenges for my ship captains, and screw JW and SD if this is what excites them so much. I would honestly feel betrayed as a fan if a dead baby SL is what has them this excited. Sorry not sorry.

In other words..I really hope for:

1) Misdiagnosis!! Please Shonda, I beg you
2) Sensational and improbable last minute save, such as Bailey and her genetic research (just because Jackson shut her down and they made a point out of that), plus OI is a genetic condition and bubbleboy could have been foreshadowing.

I don't think anyone wants to watch a dead baby storyline. Having poor April carry a baby she knows will not survive after birth, give birth to said baby, and then have to say goodbye to the baby who would likely be in intense pain until it's demise. Months of sadness and depression and mourning and coping. It just seems so cruel and even as an actor, I'm not sure how Jesse or Sarah would be excited about that storyline. And, like I said before, they don't get nearly enough screen time to portray the loss of a child realistically so in the end it would come off as half-assed. And honestly I have enough sadness in my life, that's just not a storyline I'd be into I'm afraid. I am really not sure I could handle watching them go through that. :/

I still thing it was either misdiagnosed.. or it will be the mild form where people go on to live happy, normal lives.. or somehow, Bailey or another doctor will come up with a way to save the baby's life. Remember when April and Jackson were both involved in Bubble Boy's storyline at some point, we thought it could be foreshadow. A child with no immune system, having to be in a bubble, and more than likely not survive vs. a child with OI, fragile bones, having to be handled very delicately and more than likely not survive. Add that to Jackson closing Bailey's geno lab, and the fact that they made a point to bring that up in 11x01.. makes me wonder.

I'm not down with seeing April and Jackson sad and mourning for the rest of the season.

In any case at least we know the baby is here by episode 11. So.. yay.

I agree with you 100%. I would feel completely betrayed by JW and SD. I joked about this earlier to a friend, but I would want every last one of my PCA votes back just for the hyping. I know they don't write the show but Sarah pitched the plot and JW has run with the hashtags getting us all excited. That is the only reason I don't think the baby dies. I just can't imagine they are so out of touch with the fans that they would think we would like this plot after waiting so long for them to get back together, then waiting so long for them to appear in an episode this season. It would just be mean and sadistic IMO.

Oh I agree. I'd feel pretty.. I dunno if betrayed is the word.. but I'd feel really duped if the baby dies after having to wait 6 episodes to even get a glimpse of them, having Jesse and Sarah hyping up the storyline complete with a birth certificate, only getting like 5 minutes of happiness before they're like well, sorry, your baby dies. Womp womp. Sucks to be you. Which is one of the reasons I feel that the baby will survive again all odds.

I think we will probably get an interview with Sarah after tonight's episode. She usually gives one after big Japril episodes. Maybe she can give us some hope, I dunno.

SOMEONE tell me why the hell Stephanie is ALL over this storyline. It's becoming obvious that it's more than just not having anything else for her to do.
