He could be a son of Derek and Mark's sister?
 Or the son of Nancy/Kathleen/Lizzie and Mark who was given up for adoption? Nancy implied she slept with him. In light of what's happened recently and the fact they teased at Derek having a secret son in 10x13, it would make sense if it's his long-lost son. Would stir up drama for Meredith, that's for sure... Also corroborating Jesse saying his present looms large.  |

It'd be creepy and weird if Meredith found herself desperately attracted to him because he looked like Derek, lol. I mean if he was a long lost son. Well that is Jerry Springer level of bad.

Yeah, the whole Addison-centricity on PrP ruins any possibilities this dude might be Addison's son. Derek and Addison were married in the early nineties. But why would she give him up? Maybe she was too devoted to her work and couldn't care for him? Still, though, she had her friends and husband. It isn't like she was a single mom raising a kid.
Nothing points to this guy theoretically being Addison and Derek's. Private Practice pretty much sealed the gates on that theory. |
