Yes, I hope it isn't some rip off of the Post it because I hated the post-it. IMO, Jo and Alex are nothing like MerDer and I don't really care for the comparisons, so I hope it is something different than that, although I don't know what that could be. I think that something big is going to happen with Calzona, but not a kiss or anything like that. I don't know if it will be good or bad, but I do think that they will start to very slowly make their way back to each other next season.

Yeah, I just went and read the spoilers more properly and the ones they added in since I last looked, and they did say Alex is not who Jo reveals her secrets to, so it does look like she'll tell DeLuca first.

i wonder if they'll just have Jo utter "I was married" to Deluca after Alex storms off after a row or something? And that'll be it until fall..

I'm not worried that Jo will cheat. The only thing that worries me is that they've completely dropped Deluca/Maggie and I hope it's not too free him up for Jo.

I don't want a post it rip off either but the proposition plus the "four times" teaser which sounds like it could relate to Jolex makes me think they'l do some version of it and then have the secret and the fact that Jo told DeLuca and not Alex hanging over them next season.

I wish the finale sounded exciting or truly shocking instead of boring and predictable. I can't take Amelia crying and running off in the rain and then probably marrying Owen anyway because this is Grey's. April giving birth doesn't interest me since Ben's involved.

what baffles me a why she wouldn't just tell him she was married. Like there has to a decent reason other then she just didn't want to. I hope it's something good that will give Jo a good storyline.

I also hope it's not some lame retcon that makes her look bad and gives Alex a reason to want out of the relationship. She's put up with a lot from him this season so it would really bug me if it were him who turned around and said he was done With her.

Camilla also said the finale was the most intense episode she's shot so wonder what goes down...

I don't think its 100% a sure thing that she was married, but the spoiler person said that most people have guessed the big twists for the episode overall, so that is what I'm thinking. I'm not sure why she would tell DeLuca and not Alex unless it is something that she is deeply ashamed of and doesn't want Alex to know. But, again, why tell DeLuca? Could DeLuca possibly be sticking up for Alex? That might be kind of nice to see.

I don't think that Jo is going to come off looking great, simply because she is keeping a secret from Alex, but I also don't think that she will come off looking horrible. Hopefully she will at least be sympathetic. It will definitely be a retcon, but as long as it is plausible and explained in a way that isn't completely half-assed, then I will be ok with it.

As far as the "four times," I would be willing to bet cash money that Meredith tells Alex that that is how many times she and Riggs did the deed. Mark my words on that one!

I wish I hadn't seen these spoilers. I was really looking forward to the finale and now I feel like I'll be massively disappointed, also because Jo and Alex won't share many scenes. I really thought the writers would try to make up a little for all the time they ignored them this season.

I think I need a break from the show or stop watching completely, and the easiest way I'll get there is if the writers do something that will undermine how much Alex and Jo love each other this episode. That's why the talk about Izzie worries me so much. If Alex ends up saying that she's his one true love, what's the point for us in rooting for him and Jo if they will never have what he had with Izzie? Especially because he's been longer with Jo now than he was with Izzie and that she's showed him more than anyone else how much she loves him? That she stayed even when he was a jerk to her? That they share this similiar past that gives them a special bond? That Alex didn't have to try so hard to be a better man in this relationship because Jo showed him that he's great the way he is? If they diminish Jo and Alex's love this episode I think I could be turned off from the show for a while. I guess it's a good thing there will be a hiatus because I bet by September I'll be excited again.

And it's also not helping that the statements I keep reading from Shonda, Ellen and co don't really make me want to tune in next season. It looks like they will keep doing exactly what they did in s12 with this huge focus on Meredith which probably again determines Alex's role as her BFF and nothing more. They will also keep doing more centric episodes and I can't imagine anything I would like to see less. Also because what are the chances of one of those being a Jolex episode? Not Alex centric like 12x03, Jolex centric? Probably not good. And it also looks like the cast will stay the same size which will again make the storytelling super choppy and sloppy.

Maybe it's for the best to drop the show for good but so far I just couldn't get there. If they undermine Jolex tonight though I think I can finally free myself. Drama is good, break ups can be exciting but the writers still find a way to make it clear to the audience that the ship belongs together and that the two characters are soulmates. If Alex's big love left in s6 and Jo is just someone he fell in love with but can't love the same way then I really don't want to do this to myself anymore. I could see Alex say something like "sometimes you get two big loves, mine are Jo and Izzie" though if the writers want to sell the people on Meredith/Nathan.

I guess we'll see. I feel like there's no sense in discussing this much longer for me since we will watch the episode tonight. Before reading the spoilers I wanted the secret to be something that shows continuity, now I just want it to not make Jo look horrible and I'm also not sure how to feel about a Jo/Deluca friendship. I want Jo to have friends but I want it to be an attending for once. She should be an attending herself soon but the writers are completely ignoring that. That's another thing I don't want to see in s13, Jo doing her 6th year of residency because the writers messed with the timeline.
