That's very true. I got really into the show after season 6 and I was looking forward seeing the aftermath of the shooting and then we never really got anything. Pretty much the same with the plane crash. Derek's death was pretty much swiped under the rug after one episode. Except for moments when Meredith needs an excuse to be a bitch to someone

They actually showed aftermath of shooting/plane crash events for Cristina and other characters but Meredith didn't really care.Derek death and other stunts were really swiped under the rug,though.
And it's like since the very beggining,I remember when bomb exploded near her (2nd season)(killing 2 guys) and by the end of the episode she was perfectly fine and they only mentioned it like twice ever since.
She is some kind of robot or something.

I'm tired of this show as well. I'm only hanging on because I still have a little bit of hope my ship will end up together, and for a few of the other characters I like, though they have pretty much destroyed them, Alex being one. But for some strange reason, the ratings are still holding steady even after losing both Cristina and Derek. This show just refuses to die lol

This is actually strange considering that show was losing ratings like crazy during 5th/6th seasons but ever since season 7 they are very stable.
Will show last as long as ER (15 years),come slose or even outlive it?Would Camilla stay until the end?Would every character except for Meredith (and Bailey) die?I have many questions.

I know I'm just an outsider regarding that topic but I always thought and still think that Calzona will end up together. Don't know if Sara will stay that long but at least JCap will. I feel like they would've worked towards bringing them together by now if they had allowed Callie to date that guy last season. But just like Jolex's SL I think they dropped that so Callie could be there for Meredith.

I didn't know that episode 11 would be Japril centric, the press release surprised me. Shows me that Shonda does care about them even though the baby aftermath was handled poorly. Now I wonder what my ship ever did to her for her to ignore them so much. I'm laughing but it's not funny. Jolex will be broken up for months and then if we can trust that person Jo will say yes and we won't even really see the reconciliation?

I mean, I'd expect them to kiss hard and passionately after months of being broken up and I don't think we'll see that with Meredith being in every scene. We won't see any hurting on both sides I guess, no awkward talks, no nothing. They couldn't even give us a proper break up. I honestly don't know why I'm still doing this to myself.

Thanks sweetgirl The Calzona fandom is not very hopeful at the moment as it's been a year of almost nothing positive for us lol I hope you guys get something soon. It sounds like Jolex could be broken up for a while and it won't even play out on screen and be resolved in one episode? That is ridiculous and lazy writing. But Shonda needs screentime for her new pet Penny (who everyone pretty much wants gone) to get "redeemed." *huge eyeroll*

Poor Camilla always promotes the show like crazy even though her character is always crapped on by the writers.

I really think so. I think the reconciliation in s10 was a bit fast, after all cheating was involved , so they broke them up again. But I always saw it as them trying to show us Callie wanting to move on and then realizing that she still wants Arizona, but then Patrick's exit messed storylines up. Now they are apparently really trying to show them both in working relationships, but I will never ever believe that Callie would end up with Penny. Or Arizona with someone who will only be a guest star. I think Shonda is aware of how iconic Calzona are, and opposed to other ships where there were issues with the actors she doesn't seem to have issues with Sara or Jessica. I know I probably don't know much regarding that topic but that's how things look to me. Oh, and I am almost certain that they will get married legally the second time they get married. Shonda made Sam and Naomi marry twice on Private Practice, I think she'll do the same with Calzona. See how positive I am! I think when it's your own OTP you only see the worst and never think positively.

I think the one good thing about Jolex is that we don't have to see them date other people yet. Although Alex might just as well be doing that with all the emotional scenes he keeps getting with Meredith while getting nothing with Jo. I also don't think that their reconciliation will last tbh, because their proposal was anything but ideal, we never saw Jo's answer, we won't see anything of the break up... either Shonda lost all interest in Jolex and wants to pair Alex up with someone else (but I really don't believe that because he doesn't fit with anyone else) or she will have them break up again and do a better proposal/marriage talk etct., or she really just doesn't care at all and we'll be lucky if we get a wedding. Which I'm not even hopeful for because Jolex aren't the wedding kind of people, I always thought they'd just go to the courthouse like MerDer.

But thank you, I'm too invested to stop watching for good at this point, which is why since s11 I've just been waiting and waiting and rolling my eyes.

I hope they give me at least lots of Jo/Callie so I can enjoy that.

I'm looking forward to 12x11 but it also makes me wonder why Jolex never get such heavy focus. Probably because they never have storylines. But without focus you can't get storylines. It baffles me that Shonda still doesn't find it necessary to give them a freaking storyline already!!! How much longer do we have to wait??? We've been waiting for two years. TWO. FREAKING. YEARS.

I hate this all so much. I honestly think that Justin and Camilla are to blame too because they never suggest anything. Justin said more than once that he wants to see Alex start a family, but I don't think that the writers have that kind of plans for Jolex.

We can never have anything good. 😢

I feel like it's not even in any way subtle the amount that jolex get crapped on by the writers. I mean to hear about Jo's answer from MAGGIE of all people, in her Normal whinging voice about how she has to live next to Alex is actually the BIGGEST slap in the face. The More I think about it the more it totally pisses me off. We finally get a cliff hanger and that's how they decide it deserves to be resolved.. Honestly have no words for it.

What I don't understand is why Jolex can't EVER get their own episode or at least a good focus throughout one! I know japril need it, but why can't episode 10 be the one where we actually see some goddam growth and angst, SOMETHING!! When you think that they've been together for 4 odd years, one of the most established current couples, and think how little of a **** the writers give to showing their story, it's beyond words!!!

I swear this show just gives me more stress than enjoyment haha. I really just hope that they know how this comes across, missing out all of their emotional scenes in favour of Alex having them with someone else. I really wanted to see him scared for Jo, or at least how he reacts to losing her and we probably won't even see that!! I just hope there's at least something in episode 10.

They have to know that, right? Man I wish I had paid more attention to Crowen and how they were written. Feels like Cristina leaving was the worst thing they could've done to us. I'm so incredibly upset about the treatment of Jolex. It's so crystal clear that the person thing ruined them, before they were getting development and emotional scenes just fine.

I really wish we could do something about this. Even if we tweet Shonda she'd never see them. And she'd think we're just haters. Ugh.

I'm sure Camilla still cares, after all she posts photos with Justin sometimes and she still seems excited about the show. But I really feel like Justin doesn't care. Not just because of social media because I still don't think that he's the one tweeting, generally speaking. The Izzie/Alex pairing was lucky to have happened in a less crowded cast, back when there was better writing and also Katherine Heigl advocated for good storylines. I really wish Camilla did that too. I'm so incredibly frustrated.

Based on the promo pics I thought maybe we'd get a good storyline in episode 10, but then I thought back to the press release and how they mentioned everyone but Jolex.

Not looking forward to anything right now anymore. I'm so bummed out.

I still love looking at the Justin/Camilla photo from the PCAs. I get why some people constantly want photos, I'm not like that. Because those photos are only a little consolation for the fact that we get no storylines. Mostly I'm just happy that it means that Justin and Camilla were working together.

We and our pity parties here... It kind of helps though. I'm just not sure how much longer I can do this. I want to remember what it's like to be really excited for an episode again because you know that your OTP will get great scenes.

I think I'm gonna do the tweeting thing . I don't plan on watching the episode but twitter tells you pretty much what happened anyway. Not that anyone will actually see my tweets but I can try. I don't have to obnoxious or hateful while doing so.

Sometimes Justin/Camilla photos help when there's nothing else going on, but more than anything I want and need a storyline already!!!

I guess now that we know that the episode captures several months it makes sense for Alex to live at the frat house again. So he can take care of the kids. But I honestly don't get why Alex has to do that when they are Amelia's nephew and nieces. Even if she and Meredith hate each other it's her right to be there for them and not only is it her right but also her obligation.

But it looks like it has to be always Alex taking care of everyone. At least Meredith will fix things between him and Jo but I would've prefered for Alex to try that himself.

You know what makes me hopeful? When there were good episodes for Jo, like for example 11x06 Camilla never mentioned anything. For me it was a total surprise. So maybe her not giving us any spoilers doesn't mean all too much. I'm not as optimistic as I used to be though, as I've been disappointed one too many times.
