I think it's okay to write in a thread when you like the friendship and/or a romantic relationship. For now I like them as friends. And I do think they have chemistry.

They have something in common, there is definitely a chemistry between them. Alex was more of a father figure in her life.

I think that they both need a friend and they both went through something traumatic together, so it doesn't surprise me that they are getting a little bit closer. It was a huge thing and they aren't allowed to talk to anyone about it.

I saw much more of an awkward friends vibe than a romantic vibe. Not saying it will never, ever happen, but Jo is still in love with Alex and DeLuca knows that Jo is married. To an abusive guy no less. I can't imagine he would want to get involved in any of that after what happened to him. I hope that they can become friends, they both could use it right now.

I kinda think they are going for this: She'll sleep with him when Alex finally tries to make her back. It will be ironic.

I see Jo and DeLuca only as good friends or on the way to become good friends. Because before, they had never had anything to do with each other.

And he knows she's married to a violent guy. He would be dumb/crazy to start something with her knowing that, not to mention with Alex around.

But DeLuca wasn't. And Jo knows that she told him even if she was drunk. I just don't think DeLuca would want to get involved with a woman who has two violent exes, considering he just got beat up by one. Not to mention she is married.

It was really nice to see Jo laugh and smile again. If a friendship with DeLuca brings out Jo's funny and snarky side again, then it will be worth it for me. I feel like it has been years since we've seen it and it was my favorite thing about her. I wish she were laughing with Alex, but I completely get why that's not happening anytime soon.

Agreed plus right now I'm all for a friendship where Jo gets some focus.

If DeLuca is clever, he is not far from Jo. Since he knows like you said she has a violent husband who could find her at any time. DeLuca should get back together with Maggie.
