Honestly I wasnìt getting it at first, but lately in the season I finally started to like it. I love Platt, Ruzek and Olinsky. And Antonio, of course
Voight needs more time for me, I'm a fellow CF fans, I can't forgive him so easily even if I can understand him in some scenes
I only have a few doubts on Erin/Sophia. Maybe I was too used to Sophia/Brooke always so happy and strong, that when I watch her now trying to be though she just makes me laugh. I'm sorry, I just can't take her seriously, sorry, I need more time for her too

But maybe they'll conquer me with season two. It's just that I've seen them so many time in CF where I couldn't care less and now it's weird to see them again in another place. Like it's weird to see Severide, Otis or the others suddenly here

I have one question though: Erin's appartment is the same location they used for Severide/Shay appartment in season one of CF? Because tome it looks the same, they only change something


EDIT: Wait a second!! Antonio's CI in 2x01 is Chilly from Chicago Fire!! They used the same actress!

I had that at first too - I definitely get where you're coming from. I got used to her after a couple episodes but of course that took weeks for us and not days like for you since you've been marathoning the show.

Yeah they did but they had Chilli mention a sister when she first arrived and Haas said that was their cover for using the same actress . Think of it like shes a twin.

Yeah the crossovers with Fire don't work at all in my opinion.

The crossovers don't work becasue everytime we watch all the shows and we notice that if we watch CF they put 2 second of the PD cast. The same if we watch the crossover in PD: they use 2 seconds or even less for the CF cast. It doesn't work, I feel like "Are you kidding me?". And they make us hate the other show that we were obbliged to watch toknow the end (or the start) of our side of the story. And please don't make me start with the use of Severide lovelife to introduce a spin-off, that's weird

BTW, I'm at episode 2x11. Lindsay in the Task Force. I give her one episode and next she'll be back, seeing that Burgess said no to the offer and she's not happy with the others. Plus, they finally started the Linstead ship. This means trouble

No he's not, he took her in when she was younger and treated her like a daughter, so they have a father-daughter relationship but they aren't actually related.

Actually, Jay's brother comes in around the second half of PD and he's more the focus of the spin-off idea I think. They usually introduce the spin-off characters as love interests (Jay too ) because.. I guess they don't know how else to do it.
