PD sneak peeks are out, but there's not much point anymore, tbh. Basically Voight thinks Hailey's relationship with Jay is making her follow her heart and not her gut. Hailey has one hell of a glare.

As CHICAGO P.D.’s Upton (Tracy Spiridakos) finds herself in the middle of her partner/boyfriend Halstead (Jesse Lee Soffer) and boss Voight (Jason Beghe) on the Wednesday, May 12 episode, the struggle is highlighting the blurry lines for Intelligence.

“[Burgess is] closer to her team than she is her family at this point,” Marina Squerciati (who plays Burgess) recently shared. “[But it] is also kind of dangerous that they’re all sort of so committed and intertwined with each other. That actually comes to a head in the season finale. Alliances will be tested.”

It’s especially complicated for Voight, who has had to oversee his team—and their desire to protect each other at all costs—as the department is adjusting their tactics due to the ongoing effort to reform.

“It’s hard,” Beghe acknowledged to reporters in the video below. “He’s doing the best he can and sometimes he does better than other times. But, you know, we are a unit—it’s eight hearts with one beat, in a way. And so we depend on each other. There are times when Jay leads and there’s times when Voight leads [or] Upton…that’s kind of how we work on the show as actors, and also how the characters work.”

Chicago Fire is approaching a rare TV milestone: 200 episodes.

NBC's long-running OneChicago firefighter drama will reach the landmark hour in the upcoming 10th season and showrunner Derek Haas offered an early preview of what he and the writers are planning, promising audiences that there will be special surprises for the big episode.

"It's going to be our fifth episode [of season 10] and we are 1,000 percent planning on building towards a very dramatic 200th episode," Haas told ET.

Though he remained coy about what exactly he and the writers are dreaming up, he harkened back to Chicago Fire's monumental 100th episode in season 5.

"It'll be one to remember. Our 100th episode was when Casey and Gabby got married, so the 200th [episode], it'll be one of those hugely life-changing episodes of the show," Haas hinted.

Could that mean wedding bells for Severide and Kidd (finally)? Or will Casey and Brett be an official couple by then? Only time will tell.

It just aims to keep driving the conversation.

Sometimes, that’s enough. In this case, I’m not sure it is, but that’s a discussion for after the episode is out. For now, let us try to tease what the characters are doing, and what decisions are being made in Chicago PD 8×15 “The Right Thing”:

This is an intense hour. Case-heavy episodes don’t always work that well, but this one keeps you on the edge of your seat.
And it sets up a heart-stopping finale.
The focus is mostly on Voight in this one, but other characters get a chance to reckon with what’s going on.
Mostly because the quiet character moments and interactions are really well done.
For example, even though this isn’t an Upstead heavy hour, I also didn’t feel like I had to scour the episode for Upstead crumbs.
The show aims to make you second guess your decisions right along Superintendent Miller. I’m not sure it manages it.
Kevin Atwater gets a moment or two to show what makes his character so good. Now I just really need this show to give him more of a personal life.
I’ll take all the late-night calls if it means we get to see some of these characters in the comfort of their own homes.
Also, a big fan of the bedhead, what can I say?
This is one of those episodes that does a really good job at referencing the past in a way that’s both poignant and realistic.
Unspoken communication is the name of the game.
I love it when the female characters on this show are allowed to be both badass and soft within the course of a few scenes. Because that’s what women are, what women can be.

The actor also hopes that the audience learns a lot about themselves and that “we can still reimagine policing in a way that is necessary… I find it unfortunate and interesting that we started the season with the weight of a George Floyd. It doesn’t seem like darkness has let up in any way since [then], since the Trayvon Martin situation, since the Emmet Till situation. There are ancestors that I think that we still have to acknowledge and honor in the way that we tell stories.”
