[Episode Discussion] Chicago Med - 2x10 - "Heart Matters"
 Chicago Med 9:00 PM Thursday January 12, 2017 Chicago Med 2x10 "Heart Matters" Season 2 Episode 10 Promo - Dr. Rhodes (Colin Donnell) and Dr. Charles' (Oliver Platt) heart transplant patient gets into a car crash, revealing issues that could complicate her surgery. A past arrest causes trouble for Maggie (Marlyne Barrett) when the arresting officer is brought to Chicago Med with a serious injury. Elsewhere, Dr. Manning (Torrey DeVitto) and Dr. Halstead (Nick Gehlfuss) must defend their actions when explaining a patient's cause of death. Meanwhile, Dr. Halstead attempts to treat an uncooperative horse jockey. S. Epatha Merkerson, Yaya DaCosta, Brian Tee and Rachel DiPillo also star. Kara Killmer, Amy Morton, Ato Essandoh and Eddie Jemison guest star. __________________

 Great episode. I can't remember exactly what Maggie did to get arrested but I loved that SL closure. I enjoyed the other stories. Sad that jockey guy didn't want to listen. Glad Dr. Platt called  Sad about the lady that is getting the heart falling off the wagon. Hopefully she knows this is her second chance and quits all that bad crap. So Natalie and Jeff are done huh??? __________________

I can't remember about Maggie either but that whole SL had me in tears.  I knew the Jeff/Natalie relationship wouldn't last. It's too bad that Natalie had to realize it after being publicly censured. Sure she said it didn't bother her to be called out like that but it had to have affected her. Besides there's no way that she and Will are done. They will find their way back to each other.  I wanted to slap that arrogant jockey. Dr. Charles to the rescue in his own unique fashion.  Dr. Latham is starting to come around and realize that there has to be judgement on an emotional level as well as medical. It was epic that he asked Dr. Charles for advice on how to read those signs. I was also happy the lady got her second chance.  __________________

Great ep!
Glad that April's baby is doing okay Hopefully the lady who got the heart transplant uses the second chance she got. It would have been so sad if she didn't get the heart since she fell off the wagon that very day. I felt bad for the jockey. Anorexia is serious but since he called it's a girl's illness it's clear that it will be hard for him to get help  When he stood on the scale and called himself fat it was really sad.Dr Latham is really growing on me. The way the policemen stood in the hallway as the heart was being taken to the operating room was quite beautiful  __________________
