Bringing this over from the Spoiler Board. I didn't see any spoilers for 2.06 but this ep sounds interesting. I'm glad the sex trafficking SL was not dropped.
Episode 2.07 GOODWIN IS REUNITED WITH A DEAR FRIEND AND DR. HALSTEAD WORKS TO GET HIS FINANCES IN ORDER. Sharon Goodwin's (S. Epatha Merkerson) childhood sweetheart arrives at the hospital, but finds himself in dire straits. To help get his financial footing, Dr. Halstead (Nick Gehlfuss) gets lured into a concierge doctor app idea. Meanwhile, a young woman with a heart infection is treated by Dr. Rhodes (Colin Donnell) against Dr. Charles' (Oliver Platt) advice and Reese's (Rachel DiPillo) former patient, a sex trafficking victim, reaches out to her for help. Marlyne Barrett, Yaya DaCosta, Brian Tee and Torrey DeVitto also star. Mekia Cox, Patti Murin and Nick Marini also guest star. __________________

So we have a new character joining the show. If it weren't for the writers spoiling the fact that Burgess would be joining Intelligence, I would be happy about it thinking that Burgess wouldn't actually be joining the unit. But PF hasn't been spotted filming in a while so I'm scared that Ruzek is off the show (at least for now) and the new guy's in. So Intelligence would have 2 new members, Burgess and the new guy, and we'd lose 2 members. |

I like Ruzek as well. Sucks if this is true
 . I like Nick, but still I also like Ruzek so I would prefer to have both of them in Chicago PD. __________________
