A MEMBER OF THE FIREHOUSE FAMILY CLINGS TO LIFE AND MEMBERS OF THE CHICAGO MED STAFF DISCOVER A HIGHLY UNUSUAL PARALLEL BETWEEN CASES-THREE-PART STORY ARC CROSSES OVER INTO "CHICAGO FIRE" AND CONCLUDES THE FOLLOWING NIGHT ON "CHICAGO P.D-Following a knife attack, a member of the team lies in peril and their condition takes a sudden turn for the worse, leaving Dr. Connor Rhodes (Colin Donnell) and Dr. Toni Zanetti (guest star Julie Berman) scrambling to race against the clock. Word quickly spreads that some of Connor's fellow doctors feel he should have operated sooner, causing tension at the hospital. Dr. Natalie Manning (Torrey DeVitto) makes preparations for her pregnancy and Nurse April Sexton's (Yaya DaCosta) brother (guest star Roland Buck III) struggles through his first day at the hospital. Meanwhile, members of the Chicago P.D. Intelligence Unit help investigate whether the case of a women clinging to life after Firehouse 51 pulled her out of a burning building is attempted suicide or murder. As the investigation deepens, a surprising parallel to other patients surfaces. Oliver Platt, S. Epatha Merkerson, Nick Gehlfuss, Rachel DiPillo and Brian Tee also star. Taylor Kinney, Monica Raymund, Kara Killmer, Dora Madison, David Eigenberg, Yuri Sardarov, Joe Minoso, Christian Stolte, Jason Beghe, Jesse Lee Soffer and Sophia Bush guest star.

I get that Severide was worried, but he needed to take a couple steps back tonight. He isn't a doctor.

April's brother... what he did to Reese was not cool. I hope we actually get to see him tell Dr. Choi who actually thought of getting those tests. Was anyone getting creepy vibes from that lab guy?

I thought it was really good of Will to apologize to Connor. With each episode I'm liking him more and more.
I'm still not feeling the whole Connor and that one Doctor (sorry can't remember her name) relationship.

I neither like or dislike April, but it was good to see her on the show more.

Great episode! Severide shouldn't have said that and Jay shouldn't have told the firemen what Will told him, either. Everyone was worried and under pressure I guess.

I still don't like Connor though. Idk if I'll ever warm up to him.

I loved Jay shipping Will and Natalie

his talk with Nat was funny, he's such a bad liar

I thought Fire and Med blended seamlessly, loving this crossover so far!

Great episode. The crossover is just confirming how much I prefer this show to Fire.

To be fair to Will, I think his brother was more the tool in this episode then he was. He shouldn't have implied Rhodes made a bad call but he did hesitate and had it not been his brother I don't think he'd have said anything. I don't think he realised Jay was going to go running to Severide*. I also like that he apologized to Rhodes. What can I say I really like Will. His crush on Natalie is also cute and I love the both of them in that friendship. I do think the actors playing the Halstead brothers are great casting choices. They're so similar in mannerisms.

Rhodes took some amount of abuse tonight. Had I been in his shoes I'd have found it really hard not to tell Severide to get lost after his apology. I'm still not a huge fan of the character and hate his relationship with Zanetti but I did feel for him tonight.

The "you should be the doctor April" line screamed of Firefighter Gabby as did the stink eye she was giving Rhodes when he wouldn't call time of death on the patient. I like her brother. I think it's nice that Reese have another student to bounce off.

Speaking of Reese, she's awesome. Just hilarious and adorable all rolled into one. I'm hoping she sees that lab guy again

She is definitely adorable. I love her character.

Yes Jay shouldn't have told the others what Will told him. And Kelly shouldn't have talked to Rhodes that way. I guess everyone was under stress. I agree about Jesse and Nick, the casting job is incredible, not only do they look similar but they act similarly too.

I couldn't, however, warm up to Connor even in this episode. I just couldn't feel for him. Yes some people shouldn't have talked to him that way when they're not medical professionals but still, it didn't seem to me like he felt attacked at all. Idk. I just don't like him.

I liked April in this episode, and Sarah a bit more, I just couldn't warm up to her at all before.

Nat and Will are great and I do think they'll play out the friendship for a while before making them a couple.

Chastidy - I think it's partly due to it being a new show. It's not good for a show to already repeat some things when it hasn't been on long. I hope this changes if it plans to be on for long time like they want with this series of shows.

I agree about Will. He thought he was telling something to his brother in confidence.

I felt for Connor. He's having people who aren't doctors telling him what and what he shouldn't have done. It sounds like he's had that happen his whole life with his father which sucks. I thought he handled in the best way he could have, but I wouldn't blame him if he had snapped back more, but he's professional.
