I remember when they were promoting this show for the first season.. they made it look like they were best friends, when in reality they rarely had a scene together and they hated each other

It's like they don't want to tie Severide with anybody, friend or girlfriend, and that's bad because sometimes he looks like an a****le. __________________

I still like whatever scenes they have together. In the end, they do have each others back and work together as a team. I think the writers want to portray Severide as the lone wolf "I don't need anybody" type of guy. Besides when Shay died, I do believe it scared him to become close to anyone else.

^ Good point. Definitely. It was easy for him to not really have great relationships with other people, because he always had her. I do hope he opens up to someone again.

Yes, that's a good point, but I've seen he trusts Casey and Dawson, so maybe they can give us more scenes of them? Even if they want him to be a lone wolf, they live together
