I'm still upset yall. This is awful. They built us up and just crushed all of us... I'm sorry, but its not believable at all... Nobody in real life would be like "oh im sorry, im super in love with you but.... my daddy says its a no no.. so....."

She knew what Voight thought when she knocked on his door.... she also knew what Voight thought when she asked him if she could go back to intelligence, and then told Jay that it was nobody's business but theirs... She knew.. Nobody just stops it after a few comments from their "dad" when they love someone as much as we all know they do.. talking about friggin retirement.. ugh. I'm so mad.

Those gifs kill me. Jay can't even look at Erin, you can see it all over their faces. It's heart breaking. And I don't know why I'm as upset as I am. I keep telling myself I shouldn't be, but this sucks

Romantic In Denial

I know it's frustrating and it happens on shows time & time again. Not because the writers are trying to be mean (OK maybe a little) but because they want to generate more interest & anticipation for the next episode. Loyal Linstead fans will keep watching just to see their OTP but others love the angst & drama & may need a little nudge to keep them tuning in each week. Just my humble opinion - take it or leave it.

As far as Tumblr, I agree with Julie on the reason for the Erin hate & it makes no sense to me. Years ago (more than I will ever admit to) I was cheated on by my first true "love" & the anger, hurt & betrayal I felt were totally aimed at the cheater, not the woman, who I didn't have a clue as to her identity. So times change but not always for the better.

I can see your frustration, igo! I see it. It doesn't make sense! I honestly don't think it has to do with Voight as much as it has to do with her insecurities and fear of the love she has for Jay. I think it freaked her out that she was able to fall in love so quickly. She's knows Jay is such a good person and knowing that he loved her too probably proved to be too much for her. She has a lot of issues. I don't mean that mean or anything but I think we all would if we went through what she has!

I think they will get back together. When? I have no idea!

I think you're right Julie, I think she got a little freaked out by the whole 'future' talk in the last episode. I'm not saying this was her easy way out, but like you said, she has lots of issues, and she has had a rough life that likes to pop up and bite her in the ass at random times. I feel like she doesn't wanna drag Jay into that. I feel like she believes she's not good enough for him and that he could do with someone better, someone who is normal and someone who can just love him without someone like Voight getting in the way. She loves Jay and she also loves Voight, but she owes Hank her life and yes, she was right to tell him that he doesn't need to tell her what to do anymore, but at the same time maybe she's thinking he was right. Maybe she's still thinking about how she's left a string of broken hearts behind her, and maybe she's thinking she's doing this for Jay's own good. She doesn't wanna break his heart, she doesn't want her past to come bite him too, and she doesn't want this job and her father figure to get in between them. Maybe she's thinking that this is the best decision for HIM.

Yes it is sad, but you know they'll be back together soon. And like I've been saying, this opens a new door for something to happen to one of them during the end of the season.

Honestly, I'm surprisingly ok with it at the moment but it could be because i haven't re watched any of the scenes since Wednesday and knowing the long break will help. Out of sight out of mind maybe?

Don't get me wrong, I'm sad but not like I thought I would be. Maybe it's because I know they will get back together one day. I also wholeheartedly believe Jesse and Sophia are together so that helps me to cope lol

Ahh it's taken me this long to come and reply on the board as I was disappointed about the episode, you would think that Erin would want to fight for Jay, but then it might have come across as her trying to piss off daddy and not because she is in love.

I totally agree what you have written ^^^ as annoying as it is, they want people hooked and coming back for more episodes to see what happens next. I think it will be another long wait just to string us along a little
