That article answers the question of if the writers knew she was leaving. Also without singling out Jason Beghe, it seems she told them get this fixed our she is gone. Its just sad that the show runners allowed this to happen on the set.

Honestly, some things never change and it's so maddening.

Why is it still OK for men to be inappropriate with women? Ugh! I feel bad that Sophia had to leave the show but am so glad that she had the strength to do so. She will be missed but now she's on to bigger and better opportunities. Of that I have no doubt.

I don't understand why they didn't let him go if he was in the wrong. From what I read before, she wasn't the only one his actions affected.

The look they give each other after their 1st kiss was amazing. The smile Erin gives right after the kiss is the best part.
