Yes to somebody being shot but not to death obviously. The emotional aspect of this will be amazing. If it's Erin for example...the despair on Jay's side...

I still hope that he maybe takes a bullet for her, Antonio or Voight. It will give him a great story but I also like the idea of him being devastated over Erin being shot but either way is good.

Right now it's more him bc of the Lonnie storyline. Things may get really heated once this case comes to it's climax but it could be as well Erin's getting shot in all of the mayhem surrounding it...trying to save Jay...

I think it will be Jay's main storyline apart from his usual detective work and the issues with Erin.

I love that they created this storyline for Halstead bc it gives us insight to his past as well as to his present and the possible future....Very multidimensional.
